So I had leased my 2008 Honda Accord from Staten Island Honda, and had a horrible experience. When my lease was up I swore I would not go back there, but after shopping dealers in NJ and Brooklyn, I found Honda, and had a horrible experience. When my lease was up I swore I would not go back there, but after shopping dealers in NJ and Brooklyn, I found that these dealers where charging WAY more then I had paid for the same car 3 years prior, and they had little to no cars in stock. Against my best wishes, I returned to SI Honda to see what they can do. Boy how times have changed. I was greeted with a warm smile by Joe DeFeo, was shown options on the car that I never knew existed (that I even had on my own car) and was offered a test drive, something no other salesperson had offered prior. Joe gave us a fair deal, had the car we wanted in stock, and was even able to have me drive it home the same day! The "haggling" process was quick and easy, my husband and I joked that it seemed that Joe was more on our side then his boss LOL. Anybody who needs a Honda and is looking for the easiest experience possible, go see Joe today!! More

Went to look at 2011 Honda pilot for lease, initial offer was $459, we said too much we want to pay 400 for 39 month lease, after a little back and forth they said ok. WE thought wow, "good deal", "that was easy". You can pick up the car this weekend. Meet with Majic the finance officer and he tells us we did not qualify for Tier 1 credit. You need 720 to qualify and we were at 690. Which is BS we ran our credit the day before and we had a 730 score. I tell him this and pull up the Equifax report on his computer. He tells me it’s not a FICO score and that it’s not the Equifax website. Ok fine it’s not a FICO score it's an Equifax score, I'll buy that. Then he googles "Equifax" and is trying to convince me that the results coming up with equifax.com in the domain name are not Equifax’s website. Seriously??? I have a doctorate dude I know how to use google and type a web address. Anyway he then tells us that since we qualify at Tier 2 our payments will be $438. We said no way. Then he asks us if we are previous Honda owners (which we are not) because Honda finance has a lease program for previous owners 36 mon, gap insurance, lower deductible, $1500 mech coverage etc. for $427, and he will see if his GM can "call in a favor" with Honda finance since we are not previous owners. We said no thanks we want our deposit back. Ok fine, GM comes in gives us the you're saving money overall talk and will do the deal for $418. At this point it's over two hours later and my wife and I have a NOW very cranky 2-year-old with us. We said fine $415 he agrees and says ok Since he's already losing money on the deal a couple of bucks wont matter. Finance paperwork was written up in 10 minutes, he must have been quick to dial and "call in his favor" with Honda finance. After reading the other reviews which were IDENTICAL to what happened to me it is clear that this dealership has some very dishonest business practices and this wasn’t just some unfortunate event. Don't even get me started about Sansone in NJ. The world would be a much better place without dealerships and car salesmen. More
my inlaws recommended steve gallo after having a great experience with him. i still shopped around. after dealing with a few other honda dealers as well as other car dealers i would have been happy to p experience with him. i still shopped around. after dealing with a few other honda dealers as well as other car dealers i would have been happy to pay a premium to work with steve - but i didnt have to! he delivered as promised the best deal with by far the best service of the half dozen or so different dealerships we encountered. steve took the time to make this a great experience. Steve Gallo was assertive, detailed, oriented, and extremely helpful. He answered all questions accordingly. Steve made the sale easy and quick and did not give us the run around and this is what made us make the final decision to lease with SI Honda once again. This has been the third car that we leased at SI Honda and wouldn't go anywhere else. We go to the same salesman, John Gilani and the Manager, Path Noch works with you. We are very happy with our new Hon and wouldn't go anywhere else. We go to the same salesman, John Gilani and the Manager, Path Noch works with you. We are very happy with our new Honda Accord and the service department at SI Honda is also very accommodating. I recommend this dealership because the overall experience buying a car there is great - no hassles or problems. More
This is the 6th Honda we have leased from Staten Island honda. As far as the salesperson, Raymund Valenzuela, we have the highest regard for him- he does not play games and we have always come away feeling honda. We told them that we would have to shop around and we felt no pressure from them to accept their offer, however, we thought they were sincere in their efforts to meet our requests for the best deal for the vehicle we needed. In the end we returned to the dealership and both Mr. Gallo and Mr. Yu did not disappoint and we left feeling they had done all they could to satisfy us. More

The salesperson who assisted us upon entering the dealership was Salvatore Pergola. From the moment we met, Sal was informative, helpful and honest. He never once misled us. Sal explained the details of the lease, assisted us in completing all the paperwork, arranged for test drives and did so in a professional manner. It is also to be noted that Sal was out one Saturday and he arranged for my father's test drive with another salesperson, James O'Rourke. Jay was also professional and extremely helpful. He was kind and patient with my elderly father. As a result of the two men mentioned above we leased three cars through Staten Island Nissan. I would not hesitate to recommend the dealership and in particular Sal and Jay. More
