I'm going to first preface by saying, I'm the type that leery of dealerships and the reputation they have. I was ready to go in and spar because I don't like playing games. I have to say this is the best e leery of dealerships and the reputation they have. I was ready to go in and spar because I don't like playing games. I have to say this is the best experience I have ever had. Faraz was my sales person and he was such a nice guy. Like any dealership, you go in to negotiate a car. Faraz and I just had a conversation of what I was looking for and what he may be able to do for me. There were no games, he didn't go to his manager and make me wait 20 mins to come back to play games. It was basically a let me see what I can work with and can do. Darius was the sales manager who approved our deal and I did not see him once. He did not come over to try to intimidate or force a sale. Faraz and I worked everything out in a cordial, friendly manner. They even beat my credit union interest rate that I came in with! Great service, very nice building, snacks and drinks, and very friendly people all around! I would highly recommend them especially over the few in that area I've been to. 10 out of 10!!!!! More

I took my car in to get my AC fixed and to have a required recall part replaced (fuel pump). Everything seemed fine until I realized my fuel gauge was not reflecting the appropriate level of gas. I don’t drive the car that much, so it took me a couple of weeks to realize the gauge wasn’t functional. It was working properly prior to the work at the dealership. I called in a couple of days ago to schedule an appointment thinking (naively I now understand) the service department would be eager to diagnose and fix the issue they caused during the previous service. The employee seemed busy and distracted and didn’t seem concerned that my issue was caused by the previous visit. I scheduled an appointment for Noon today. Apparently that employee I talked to on the phone was so distracted that he didn’t even schedule the appointment we agreed upon. I found this out when I, needlessly it turns out, drove to the dealership for my “phantom” appointment. More

Prior to purchasing a vehicle from Honda of Short Pump, I asked if there was a return policy in place in case I found there to be issues or concerns with the vehicle. I received the following response: As for a return policy, we technically do not have one. However, if any issues were to arise, we would simply ask that you give us the opportunity to make the situation right. We thoroughly inspect all of our vehicles to ensure they're in the best possible condition before our customers drive off the lot, and we're committed to taking care of our customers even after the sale. This was not the case. Six days after my vehicle purchase with HSP, (bought a car from them on June 13, 2026) I scheduled a PPI with another dealership in the area. The PPI was done on June 19, 2026 just to make sure the vehicle I purchased was in good running shape. The PPI indicated the vehicle was good but that it needed brakes and rotor replacement (which there was starting to be a slight shaking when applying the brakes about 4 days after purchase) and a transmission flush. I sent over the results of the PPI to my salesperson, DaShawn, on June 19th. Heard nothing back so on June 23rd sent a follow up text asking if HSP would be willing to put new brakes and rotors on the vehicle. DaShawn advised he never got my first inquiry so I resent it. Again heard nothing back from HSP so on June 27th I reached out for the 3rd time. I found this VERY strange because I had no problem hearing from HSP when I was looking to buy a car but now they were very hard to reach. On June 27 DaShawn finally responded that he could not make the decision but he would send it over to his management. He then responded back that they decided they would jot be able to “cover the cost” of the repairs. I wrote him back and said I did not ask for the cost of repairs to be covered I asked for the vehicle issues to be “made right” as they had indicated would be done if any issues were found. On June 29th he responded “let me get with my team leads” and I have heard NOTHING back from him since. On July 2, 2026 I sent a follow up asking for the response from the team leads and have not gotten a response. If you are looking to buy from a reputable dealership, this is not the one. According to my salesperson the owners are out of Ohio, and the management is too. They have no ties to the area and do not care how they treat the local buyer community since this is not their home. What would have made them reputable is when I asked about the return policy they were truthful and said “no, we will not be able to assist with any vehicle issues after purchase.” I would have still bought the car and even after finding it needed some work would have given this dealership a good rating because at least they were honest. There is a saying that “the trust of the innocent is the liar’s most useful tool.” I hope that Honda of Short Pump learns the true tools of their trade and come to realize that being honest will get them much further than lying. If you’re looking for honesty in a dealership when purchasing a vehicle, DON’T CHOOSE THIS ONE! More
