WORST SERVICE EXPERIENCE I will never return to Hamer Honda for ANYTHING! We bought our daughter's car from them (another long story, but we will NEVER buy another car from t I will never return to Hamer Honda for ANYTHING! We bought our daughter's car from them (another long story, but we will NEVER buy another car from them - horrible experience!!!), and in our deal we received 18-months and/or 3 free oil change & service from them. We booked an appt. for her oil change at 11 am. We arrived at 10:55. By 11:45, when we still hadn't been taken in, I went searching for the Service Manager. We received many apologies for the delay, but they were completely disorganized with angry people everywhere. We were then promised our car would be ready by 2 pm, and that they would call us. When I didn't hear from them, we called at 3:30. They were unable to locate our car, and didn't know if it was ready. They said they would call me back. Didn't hear from anyone, so we called back at 4:30. They still couldn't find our car, and wasn't sure what was happening, but we were told that we had better hurry in because they close at 5:00, and if we didn't get there before then, they would hold our car overnight. We rushed in, and again - it was a complete mess in the service dept. They didn't "find" our car until 5:20. Thankfully the service had been done, but we will NEVER go back!!! More
Dealer stole my trade in car. I was supposed to get back a check for the car I traded in and they just not giving it to me. LED light can not be replaced , so headlight assembly need to be replaced. Headlight assembly costs 1300!!!! Bought extended warranty for 8yr/72k when the car was purchased for nothing as this is NOT covered in the warranty. Lies on Top of Incompetence on Top of Lies PLEASE MAKE SURE TO CHECK ANY DEALER ON THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU BEFORE MAKING ANY SORT OF PURCHASE OR REPAIR I just bought a brand new black Hon PLEASE MAKE SURE TO CHECK ANY DEALER ON THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU BEFORE MAKING ANY SORT OF PURCHASE OR REPAIR I just bought a brand new black Honda vehicle. I discovered paint problems the day after I purchased the car. The dealer agreed to polish it to correct the mistakes. Day 1= They only washed, if anything, the car after I told them to polish. The person who received the vehicle is a Service Adviser named Lee Moss who didn't know the difference between waxing and polishing a vehicle when I asked him to please polish the vehicle, or pretended to not know. After he said it was ready, I pointed out the same dirt and waters spots that were there earlier that day. He argued that I only told him to clean the roof. Ridiculous people. They have to be instructed on how to make know if a car is clean or not. He asks for another day. Day 2= I come for the car in the evening. Car looks cleaner on the panels but it still has water spots and dirt stuck all around after "polishing". I didn't buy that and Lee Moss said that they waxed it. It was disappointing how Hamer Honda is so incompetent and care so little for the customers that they would wax on top of water spots. That is if they really waxed it. Lee Moss himself pointed, after I inspected the vehicle, that the vehicle was not ready and that they needed another day. Esmeralda Balcazar and a manager named Simon came to his aid. They both assured and assured again that the vehicle was going to be ready by the next day. Esmeralda Balcazar was nice but Simon's demeanor gave the big impression that he did not care. We gave in to another day based on the good faith to Honda. Day 3= It takes 40 minutes on the line to announce that the car is ready. We go to the dealer to find out that the car is not in the dealer and nor ready. Huge waste of time. We were then approached by Corey Sloane who is the parts and service director. Corey told us that the car might not be ready that day and that they might need another day. We then mentioned about Simon's strong assurance that it would be ready but we were given the impression that Simon is new manager and doesn't know what he talks about. I believe that. Keep in mind that Simon is a manager at Hamer Honda. Corey was polite overall. He said to wait and he was gonna update us on the car. Hours pass and Simon approaches us to tell us that the vehicle is not ready and will not be by that same day even after he told us that it will the previous night. I said that I want the car back and that I want to know what work they did on it. He babels that the car is half-way done and I ask him what he means by that and after listening to his noise I ask him if he knows or not and he said that he doesn't know and that he'll give a call and ask. He seems to work backwards. Keep in mind that Simon is some sort of boss at Hamer Honda. I ask to speak with Corey. I asked if they worked on the car and both Simon and Corey say yes. I tell Corey to bring the car back as we are done wasting time. He brings the vehicle back and I saw the same spots and same dirt from the previous day. I asked him what "work" they did on it and he replies that it they only inspected the car. It took Hamer Honda and affiliates 1 ENTIRE DAY to xxxxx that the vehicle needs more than a wash and waxing. After three days 3 days it takes more than entire team of people to arrive at that conclusion, including managers and directors. Absolutely ridiculous. The bottom line is that a great majority of the staff at Hamer Honda in Reseda is not honest and nor care about the costumer even after being committed to spending close to $30 grand. The odds of receiving a good service are against you. We were not the only unhappy costumers. The possibility of being lied to at Hamer Honda Reseda at very very high. I can only recommend you to be informed and stay AS FAR AWAY as possible from Hamer Honda in Reseda. I went in with a certain amount of money paying cash for the SUV and a fixed price. We went back and forth and Salesman Mr. Hossein Ghaffari was excellent. He listen, heard and executed a deal I was going to live with. He was extremely well mannered and very professional. Whole experience was very pleasant. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a car. He has great people skills and there was no pressure the whole experience was the most pleasant I have ever had buying a car. More

I'm happy with the car I purchased, and I'm not freaking out about the purchase price. That's a pretty ideal situation when it comes to buying a new car, and it's all thanks to you. August 14 the 1st Time Customers / Honda Recall Customers :: BEWARE of Lee Moss (old guy) and manager Richard Sugarman-- They WILL rip you off! August 14 the Friday, I took my minivan to Kolbe service center. This old guy LEE started doing my paperwork and he showed me the usual PACKAGE X, Y, Z gets your oil change, this change, that change, this flushed, that fixed, timing belt, whatever belt, blah blah blah. He asked me if I wanted ANY of them done. I said NO, I ONLY want the FREE recall stuff and I'll let you know LATER if I want anything else. He said okay. I again asked him to confirm if the services were FREE and he said YES. I was offered a Pilot courtesy vehicle and Jessica helped me out. After few minutes, LEE gave me THREE (3) papers to SIGN. I laughed and asked, what do all these say? I DID NOT READ -- Because I saw the LOGO on their webpage that says they've in the valley since 1959 and thus they should be legit and wouldn't dare ripping people off or TRAPPING them in any way. WAS I WRONG! Lee told me those are the 'services' they will perform on my minivan. I AM NO xxxx CAR MECHANIC -- to me that means; aka 'services' = HONDA'S FREE RECALL PARTS replacement. I signed.. DID NOT SEE... ANY $ (dollar sign) anywhere in the documents, nor was I pointed out to any. $900+ of SCAM -- you would think they'd mention it??? LEE did NOT tell me ANYTHING about costing me ANY money. He did NOT mention ANYTHING about EVEN ANY ESTIMATED COST I'll be paying out of pocket WHEN I SIGNED the 3 documents .. NOT READING THEM...because he is a OLD DUDE, wearing a Hawaiian shirt..relaxed -- I THOUGHT he was old and calm and MUST be STRAIGHT FORWARD. I did NOT expect such an old guy to be SOOOO DECEIVING. ***Please read on -- so you don't end up in the same TRAP as I did. *** Saturday the 8/15/2015 -- I called at 10:52 AM. LEE told me it'd be ready by end of the day, OR maybe even an extra day; he told me Friday they were busy. I said okay. Even NOW He did NOT say, 'Oh Hey.. we are doing the timing belt change and stuff on our minivan'. NOTHING. ZIP. - Missed call :: 12:11 PM by Lee -- Voice Message. Mohammad, please call me back. - Called Lee :: 12:32 PM -- He offered me 3 services..3 packages .. one of them for $100+, another for $200+ and another for $300+ I believe and total would be $650-ish dollar. I said... EXPLICITLY .. like this.. "I AM ON A TIGHT BUDGET AND I WOULD LIKE TO SKIP ALL OF THESE SERVICES". He said.. EXPLICITLY.. Like this...(sounding dissatisfied) "OKAY, WE WILL LEAVE YOUR MINIVAN AND WON'T DO ANY OF THE ADDITIONAL SERVICES." IS THIS NOT ENOUGH PLAIN ENGLISH? - Missed call :: 3:11 PM By Lee - Incoming call received:: 3:12 PM By LEE -- Mohammad your minivan/vehicle is ready to be picked up. We close at 5 PM, can you make it by then. I said yes. - Incoming call received:: 4:13 PM By LEE -- Mohammad, can you make it today? I said, yes, I'm stuck with something and should be in your place by 4:50 PM. He sounded SHOCKED. 4:50?? (He didn't yell, but certainly his tone changed and sounded unhappy, as if I have said something awful). I did go there around 4:50 (maybe 4:49 or 4:51 PM). As I was unloading, he said, can you please go to the 'cashier' first and then do the rest of the unloading. I STILL HAVE NO CLUE -- I thought, all 'sign off' process probably required customers to go to the 'cashier'. I handed over my Driver's license to the cashier to sign the release. She said :: "What credit card will you be using?.. we can't swipe your Driver's License." Look at the subtle RUDENESS at this state. I was like what?? Why do you need my CC. She said you are charged $932.xx. I said for what? She said for the 'services'. Again .. xxxx 'SERVICES'. She went to call Lee and he came out raising his voice.. "BALONEY"! I told him what I wrote above. I was dumbfounded. My 2 year old was playing around in the office area. Our voices started raising. My daughter started getting scared; she started pulling me by my hands and I then picked her up. I am NOT trying to dramatize the situation here by mentioning my daughter. My car, my wealth -- all of this is MUCH inferior to me than a single 'glimpse' of my daughter. She is MUCH more valuable to me than everything I own and certainly more important than the FRAUDS at Kolbe Honda. Because of these unprofessional crooks, my daughter got scared. MONEY.. I CAN GET BACK EASY. MY DAUGHTER'S FEAR -- I CANNOT UNDO THAT. LEE MOSS Still trying to raise his voice more louder than mine; I told him to get his manager and RICHARD SUGARMAN came and IMMIDIATELY blaming me that 'you signed for this'. I said, PLEASE Play back your TELEPHONE RECORDINGS. You will hear. Please play back your VIDEO RECORDINGS from YESTERDAY and you will see if he mentioned ANYTHING about the cost to me when I was signed. He said WE CAN'T DO THAT. I said I won't pay. In full disclosure, I ultimately did not buy at Kolbe because I would not have been able get a ride there (I live 2 hrs away) in the time frame (mine) required.
