I can understand Sean not knowing if it was a timing belt or chain since Honda makes several different engines and they change from year to year. The K&W (K&N) filter is an aftermarket piece that we do not supply here at Honda of Lake Jackson. We use geniune Honda oil here at the store and compared to those in the vicinity of Honda of Lake Jackson we are a few dollars less if they are using the same oil. We are here to help you in any way we can and to keep your Honda running properly. The 100,000 mile vehicle maintenance is an extremely important service for your vehicle. That being said there are many aspects that are part of this service that would bring the cost to what it is. I would like to offer you a free oil change on me at your next visit.
