Sent my wife to take the car in for service and asked for what the maintenace message on the vehicle display was requesting. (B, 1,2 &3). Was told that the services don't go by the codes. She told him that is what the car requires and she is requesting. Service advisor starts the process and they take the car. They come back with a recommendations list of additional services that would tack on an additional $250. She decline... after all is said and done... They never did one of the services initially requested, it was part of the recommended list... The service advisor was too busy trying to sell more then needed and not listened to the customer. I will not wife back to this dealer again. The best part was the missed service was the air filters. ($50 in parts and $80 in labor) This was a blessing, I can save 80 bucks by dropping in airfilters myself. More

Background: I leased a new 2014 CR-V on Saturday 10/5 and received my registration via overnight mail on Tuesday 10/8. I happened to be in the North Shore area during rush hour on Wednesday 10/9 and I called Service to ask if they took walk-in car inspections. The operator was friendly, answered my question, told me the service hours and also gave me directions, which I appreciated. As I drove into the service area, I was professionally greeted by a service person who directed me into a bay and verified that I needed a new car inspection. He also showed me the location of the Service check-in area. I was happy that I didn't feel lost at all, which has happened at other service establishments. In Service, Vic was with a customer but she looked up to greet me and told me that she'd be with me in a minute -- it was nice to be acknowledged. Vic introduced herself and was friendly and professional. When I mentioned that I had just leased my car from the dealership four days prior, she was able to quickly locate a copy of my registration in her files so I didn't need to weed through all the lease paperwork that I had brought. I also told Vic that my low tire pressure warning light was on and she conveyed that to the service tech. She quickly took care of the paperwork and told me that my car would be ready in about 25 minutes. She gave me a complimentary beverage coupon which I used at dealership's cafe. The service was completed a short while later and Vic found me in the cafe to tell me that my car was ready and that my paperwork was in the front passenger seat. When I walked out to the bay, I was very nicely surprised that my car had also been washed. I was very impressed overall with how quickly and easily my walk-in service appointment was handled at Honda North. More
Vic was incredibly helpful, efficient and honest. She made sure I knew everything that was happening with the service visit and was proactive in recommending elements that needed attention. My service writer (Tim) took great pains to explain my options on the repair and made sure it was covered under warranty, which was a surprise to me. I called Honda Service at 4 pm after getting a flat tire. They scheduled me for a 4:40 pm appointment, put on a new tire, washed my car inside and out and had me on my way by 6:00 pm. Overall the experience went as planned /expected. My service manager “Tim” made the necessary service recommendations (in this case brake fluid change and alignment), kept me up to date on the progress service manager “Tim” made the necessary service recommendations (in this case brake fluid change and alignment), kept me up to date on the progress of my vehicle, and provided me with a final overview when I picked up the vehicle. Tim was spot on. However, when I went to pay for my vehicle, the cashier was less than impressive. When I showed up to the counter she was slow to acknowledge my presence. Not that I expect some grand gesture, but a simple acknowledgement is customary. Instead she seemed perfectly content to continue chatting it up with the sales representative that where there. Then the cashier asked me to confirm the price of the service (before charging my credit card). I acknowledged the amount and then she gave me a flip response to the effect of “that I would hope so or we would have a problem”. For that experience, I lowered my overall experience rating. More
This was my first visit to the service center (purchased car new in June). The service rep met me at the door. He told me the service would be approx. 30 - 45 minures. I went and had a cup of coffee and the car was done before I could finish the coffee (20 minutes) Another surprise.,.....there was no charge for the first service. The car was delivered back to me at the door, interior cleaned and outside washed. More

When I arrived at Honda North, Dennis Torres did an excellent job in making sure that the 10,000 mile service was completed in a manner consistent with my previous visits. I especially appreciated that he took time to go over with me what had been done and where future service needs might arise' All I can say is: Thanks, and keep up the good work at Honda North. More
