Quick in and out I had my oil changed at Honda North and they took care of it within 20 minutes. While I waited I had a free cup of coffee. Very nice. Service Inquiry Ever since I began driving I've always owned Honda's. I also have always went to the Honda dealership for service. In California the dealership was always friendly, did good work, but as always was OVERPRICED. Upon moving to MA I decided to continue to go to Honda, particularly Honda North. I can honestly say that I NEVER want to return. In fact I will only return if I have to. First, I called twice and asked if when I came in for an oil change if someone would take a look at my car because it was making a noise. Upon arrival I was told by the service agent that they would not look at my car and would only be able to complete the oil change. Ok, well as the car was being serviced it was OBVIOUS that something was hanging from the bottom of my car. I asked the advisor if there was anyone who could take a look and he said "No". I then asked if he noticed that there was something hanging from the bottom and he said, "Yes, I see it" I asked if someone could please take a look, he said "No" and that I would need to schedule an appointment. I don't get it, in plane sight its visible that something is wrong with my car and I'm at the service department and NO ONE is willing to take a look. They even completed the oil change staring at the thing hanging from the bottom of the car and no one even mentioned it to me. I had to notice it on my own and ask questions about it. The advisor then told me that it would be around 60 dollars to have the car looked at. When I called to schedule an appointment I was quoted 115. I also want to mention that I asked the advisor if the car was driveable and he chuckled and said well have you been driving on it... Well, instead of coming to Honda North for service I went to a Mechanic who looked at my car for FREE. I was informed that my Front Sway bar was broken and that it was hanging from the front. I went to another Mechanic, who checked it for FREE and he said the same thing. They both also advised that I be cautious when driving and that I have the car repaired soon as it could become unsafe with all the potholes, especially when turning. Service at Honda North is HORRIBLE. Another thing that happened at Honda on this same visit... The guy who completed my oil change said, it looks like you have a leak somewhere because I saw spilt oil around the engine. Do you think that he was able to tell me about the leak. NO. I was told you need to schedule an appointment. I later found out that the leak was probably related to the CRAPPY repair job that I had done this past year at Honda North. I came in for major service there and left with damages caused by the Honda North mechanics. To sum up my experience Honda North is the WORST service repair shop especially dealership that I have ever been to. Honda North is where you can expect to receive POOR SERVICE that is way OVERPRICED, but hey at least it's Honda certified. More

I took my Honda Civic Lease in for an oil change and windshield wiper change. The Service Department went over in detail what they had done and everything looked great but was asked if I was interested in talking with someone about possibly looking at some numbers on a 2015 Honda Civic Lease to take home today. I did and drove home with a new lease in two hours! Everything was perfect! The manage Steve even came over and thanked me and I told him when I walked in here 3 years ago I had the same great experience as I did that day! I told my sister in New Hampshire about Honda and she too went to Honda in Portsmouth area and now has a Honda and with great service! Thank you Honda North!! More

New Tires My service rep was Pat. My car was in for an oil change and a sticker. I also knew I needed tires and wanted to make sure I received the same Dunl My service rep was Pat. My car was in for an oil change and a sticker. I also knew I needed tires and wanted to make sure I received the same Dunlop tires that were on my car when I bought it brand new. Pat confirmed what tires I had and made sure they were in stock before I left the service area. I had done the research and knew what price was reasonable for the tires and was pleasantly surprised that they right line with my research. Thank you Pat for all your help! More
Service following used Ridgeline purchase. Honda North has taken good care of me and of my 2008 Ridgeline. I particularly appreciated the suspension of the $50 charge for the insured repair on the steering pump line. I question whether the problem should have been found on inspection prior to the sale. I'm a good customer now! The busyness there is a testimony to the good service provided. There was some confusion about a box on the inspection report checked in error but it was cleared up promptly and prevented an unnecessary trip back to Danvers. Thank you. More
Fixed the problem and prevented a future recurrence Warning lights came on as I was coming home one night, and I brought it to the dealership the next day. The problem was traced to corroded connection Warning lights came on as I was coming home one night, and I brought it to the dealership the next day. The problem was traced to corroded connections on my hybrid's battery in the trunk. Rather than replace the harness, the service tech cleaned the connections and then repositioned them so that water in the trunk won't corrode them again in the future. This was a very helpful suggestion, saved me a lot in not having to replace the harness, and will hopefully prevent this from happening again. More
