unorganized and unhelpful We purchased a used car with a full 90 day warranty. we live an hour away. when we bought it, it had an issue with a tire sensor. a day after takin We purchased a used car with a full 90 day warranty. we live an hour away. when we bought it, it had an issue with a tire sensor. a day after taking the car, the sensor went. we also realized one of the back windows doesn't operate. they told us to come down and made an appointment for a week out. came down (1hr), sales man who sold us the car wouldn't talk to us. waited 1hr to be told they'd need us to bring it to a nissan dealer a week from now. so basically drive 1 hr down to wait 1 hour to find out we need to bring it somewhere else in another week, then drive 1hr back. very unorganized. overall it's taken over 2 weeks just to get the car into a service bay. a week later, it's at the nissan dealer, we have to keep referring them back to Honda North about payment. the car has been tied up for 2 days so far with no end in site. No one at Honda North is managing the work or communicating with Nissan. Buying the car was pretty easy and well managed. Getting it serviced has been an unfunny circus clown act More
Bad service for problem with alarm My dad went to the service department because his horn kept going off at night. They told him that they would keep the car for a day or two to see where the short in the wiring is. After two days and four hundred dollars later, the alarm still went off. He took it back and they told him he had to spend another 120.00 dollars for a key. They told him they would unplug his alarm. He got home guess what the alarm goes off again. He goes back and they tell him they unplugged the wrong wire. They pretty much told him you want it to work you have to buy the key. I tried to contact the service manager and general manager for this issue and no answer from both. I guess they don't want to talk to me after they scammed my dad who is elderly. Don't use this place nothing but s scam. More

Great Sales Team Horrible Body Shop!!!! This is a review that only pertains to the Honda North Auto Body shop. The sales manager and sales rep I worked with are great guys and the sales man This is a review that only pertains to the Honda North Auto Body shop. The sales manager and sales rep I worked with are great guys and the sales manager attempted to have his body shop fix my car twice. The first time it went in, they were only going to paint the front and rear bumpers and fix a small crack. Should be an easy job, but instead of removing the bumpers and painting them off the car they sprayed them on the car. The entire car was covered in over spray, and instead of fixing it they gave the car back to me hoping I didn’t notice. Besides the over-spray there was wet sanding residue all over the car, and would not come off. Whatever they tried wiping it with actually embedded it into the paint. My detailer was going to charge me over $300 just to try fixing the paint. To top it all off the paint job was horrible. The sales manager apologized and said he would take care of it, so back my car went. This time they removed only about 80% of the over-spray and they said they would re-paint the bumpers; however I do not believe they actually re-painted them. It looks like they just wet sanded them to try and make the paint blend. All this did was leave scratches all over the newly painted bumpers and clear coat. I am a very understanding person, but whoever worked on my car needs to find a new career or go back to auto body school. This paint job is worse than a cheap Maaco job; it looks like a DIY paint job done in a home garage. They left the car covered in wet sanding residue, did not replace all the push-pins in the front bumper, so it’s now loose. Not sure why they even removed them because it’s clear they never removed the bumper from the car. I spent 9 hours using a clay bar and polishing compound to try and fix the paint on the entire car. I then had to wax the car to try and get rid of the buffing marks they left with their buffer. The worst part is, somehow they dented and scratched my car below my driver’s door. It looks like they hit one of the lifts in their garage. They also managed to break my driver side fog light!!! I epoxied it today, because a new one is over $100. Again the Honda North sales team is great and I would buy another car from them in a heartbeat; however I will NEVER again let their body shop touch my car. I really hope they figure out who worked on my car and either train them or fire them. My car was nicer before I let them touch it. I have a total of 30 hours of detailing into this car since I got it back and it is still not back to factory grade. Customers beware, DO NOT let Honda North’s Auto Body Shop touch your car. More
You made me love you. I didn't wanna do it Let me get right to the point. I hate motor vehicles and have considered them a blight on the American landscape, environment and culture for decades. Let me get right to the point. I hate motor vehicles and have considered them a blight on the American landscape, environment and culture for decades. I've proudly bicycled to work on a daily basis for 22 years, a total of about 55,000 miles, and love to see cobwebs between my dashboard and windshield on those rare occasions when I have no other alternative than to use my car. I postponed getting the airbag recall work done on my 2003 Honda Civic for months, until I finally gave in a couple weeks ago. I was ready for a fight because I assumed that when I picked up my car, a Honda North service person was going to tell me how much other work I needed to have done, how it wouldn't be safe to drive it until thousands of dollars of repairs were completed, etc. I was totally prepared to seize on any Honda North flaw and be miserable about the entire experience. Instead, the service department opened at 7 a.m., on the nose, as advertised. Joe Giacometti welcomed me right away like a long-lost brother, did his job efficiently and told me he'd call when the job was done. I jumped on my bike and headed for work. When I returned to pick up my car that afternoon, I connected with Joe again. To my surprise, he didn't try to scare me into unplanned repairs or steer me toward the sales department. He just explained the airbag work that was done, had my car brought up, and wished me a great day. In short, it was an astonishingly pleasant experience. Not just acceptable. Pleasant! Based on that one encounter, if I ever have to have buy another car someday, I'll be heading for Honda North as my first shopping destination. As much as I hate to admit it, it's one very, very impressive operation that defied every negative stereotype about car dealerships I've ever held. Bravo, Honda North. Now, all you need to do to win me over completely is to install a bike rack. Hey, you asked! :) More
