I had used Hoffman's service before, but as my old Honda lasted 11 years I hadn't needed to buy a car since moving to CT. Anyway, my experience at Hoffman sales was super pleasant! Everyone there was very helpful and not at all aggressive (my husband was the one who pushed for the upgraded car!). Hats off to Robert, the sales person, who took the time to listen to what I needed in a vehicle and then directed me towards the Honda Pilot. Robert was extremely polite and took the time to show me all of the systems in the car and answer all of my questions (this requires much patience as I am not all savvy with electronics). Brian, the sales manager, came through with a fair price on both my trade and on the new vehicle. He tirelessly went through the financing options (including lease vs buy) so that I could make the best decision. They even stayed a half hour past closing so that we could really crunch the numbers. Finally, Michael walked me through the paperwork and advised of the different service plans available. As I tend to keep my cars for a very long time, I was thrilled to be able to purchase (for a very reasonable rate) a plan that covers all needed services/repairs to the car for 7years/125k miles. I'm looking forward to calling Dan, who had done a great job servicing my old Honda, for service. Overall, I could not have asked for a more professional teams then the Sales & Service groups at Hoffman. Although I was very attached my old CR-V a shed a few tears over giving it up, I've had the new Pilot for a week now and I love it! Robert did a great job in helping me choose the best car : ) More

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of dealing with Mike Audet of Hoffman Honda when we bought a new car. Mike is smart, knowledgeable about the Honda vehicles, personable, and helpful. And most importantly, we trust him. We walked into Hoffman Honda intending only to test drive (not buy) a car, but we decided to buy that day because we liked and trusted Mike. He never once made us feel pressured to buy a car from Hoffman or launched into the obnoxious and unsubtle high-pressure sales tactics that we’ve encountered at other dealerships (e.g., special pricing today only, I won’t be able to make you this offer next month, the other dealership is worse than us because ____, etc.). Instead, Mike immediately recognized that we had done our market research and knew how much we were prepared to pay for the car we wanted, and he helped educate us about the car. He treated us respectfully, and Hoffman offered a price which was not far from what we ultimately paid (which we believe, based on our research, to be a very good price). Mike also helped us figure out which of the (many!) optional accessories are and are not worth the money, and he genuinely seemed to have our family’s best interests at heart (rather than trying to convince us to buy things only for profit’s sake). After our purchase, Mike again exceeded our expectations, staying in close touch to keep us apprised of necessary follow-up (hitch installation, etc.). He went out of his way to make that appointment convenient for us by offering us a ride, working behind the scenes with the service department to minimize our wait time, etc. (And I will also say that Carlos Olivo, of the service department, was great -- very client-focused and helpful, with a smile.) Our other car is also a Honda (purchased elsewhere), and Mike arranged to have that car serviced as well while we waited for the new car. He made our lives easier. After previous car-buying experiences that left us with a VERY negative impression of the car dealer world in general, we are glad to have worked with Mike. We recommend that anybody interested in buying a Honda reach out to him at Hoffman Honda. More

I had my nephew with me who was so excited about his new transformer. I checked in with Samantha while my nephew talked with Justin, a mechanic at Hoffman; they talked about transformers. While waiting for the car my nephew had trouble with his toy. He planned on asking 'the guy' at Hoffman if he could fix it. We were called to get the car in less than an hours time and as planned my nephew asked if Justin could fix his transformer; Justin took a minute out of his day and fixed the toy and made my nephew so very excited. It was the first thing that he told his mother when he got home. Thanks Hoffman for taking good care of my car and going the extra step to bring some excitement to a young boy! More
