Before I write a review on how long I’ve been trying to get my car situated and fixed properly as that what insurance is for. Horrible experience all around DO NOT USE HOFFMAN COLLISION CENTER. I REPEAT: DO NOT USE HOFFMAN COLLISION CENTER. I would give a 0 if possible. Hindsight is 20/20 and I wish I did DO NOT USE HOFFMAN COLLISION CENTER. I REPEAT: DO NOT USE HOFFMAN COLLISION CENTER. I would give a 0 if possible. Hindsight is 20/20 and I wish I did not use this “run of the mill” auto body shop. The only reason I did was due to a Geico’s recommendation and because of the perceived convenience of a “repair” shop with car rental and Geico Auto all in one location. My car was brought to Hoffman after a front end driver side collision. Their misnomered “expert technicians” repaired the damages for around $7000. Looking back, the car most likely should have been totaled, but then Hoffman wouldn’t have had a payday! The car began demonstrating further issues almost IMMEDIATELY after repairs were complete. Hoffman was negligent in replacing the wheel weights on the car’s driver side where the accident occurred and COMPLETELY FAILED to fasten the lug nuts! My wife reported feeling like her wheels were going to fall off at 50/60 mph when driving on the highway. We are lucky she is alive! When I spoke with Hoffman about this, they responded “we don’t normally take the cars on the highway, that’s our bad.” Two months later, the axle opposite to the side of the original damage, snapped on the highway. Hoffman is now stating their work had nothing to do with this most recent incident. It does not take a body mechanic to surmise that the damage and subsequent repair (or lack thereof, initially) to one side of a vehicle, might cause stress on the other. There is one common denominator in the sudden and frightening malfunctions that have occurred to this historically reliable car, and that is Hoffman. Their excuses are pathetic. The staff is rude and unprofessional. When my wife returned for the second time, the service representative she met with asked if she was sure she did not “have PTSD from the accident?” WHO SAYS THAT TO A CLIENT? The suggestion that somehow my wife’s mental state caused her to imagine or hallucinate problems with her vehicle implies the service rep doubted her claim before anyone even looked at the car. Furthermore, if she were suffering from PTSD, it would not be from the initial accident, but from the second instance, when the 3000 pound metal box in which she was careening down the highway began to fall apart piece by piece! At an even more fundamental, human level: insensitive assumptions and generalizations made about PTSD are a dishonor to all of those suffering from PTSD, including the many American veterans we will be celebrating this month. After all that has taken place, I will be forced to take legal action against Hoffman. They have gave me no other option. STAY AWAY!! More

Quick and efficient One never wants to need the body shop! After my accident, I reached out to Bill Larson, the Hoffman Auto Body manager, and he took the ball, and made One never wants to need the body shop!
