Had decent service on both vehicles in past. Took family odyssey in for oil change and tire alignment before a cross country trip. Was told by the rep that they won’t deal with it at the dealer Took family odyssey in for oil change and tire alignment before a cross country trip. Was told by the rep that they won’t deal with it at the dealer drive it over to the express shop. I told them I made the appointment to ensure I was having one of their main techs look it over before a major trip. Was told wasn’t going to happen unless I wanted to wait an addition Al 4 to 6 hours for a recall as well and since I couldn’t do they service that day that I was taking it over to express. Took 3 hours to do an alignment and oil change only to have a warning that system update failed please contact dealer on my infotainment screen when I hopped in the car. Drove one mile for an errand and got back in the car to multiple beeps and orange warnings of LKS malfunction, emergency brake system malfunction disabled and 3 or 4 others. Drove right back to dealer and service tech Bo said oh they probably didn’t finish resettting something or don’t have the battery terminals put back on secure. Comes back 5 minutes later with the errors no longer showing up. Forward to two days later as we are getting ready to drive out on vacay and all of the errors are back. I call Bo that has my wife bring it in and they spend 2 hours looking it over only to send a diagnosis that it’s a coincidence that the multifunction camera has gone bad and needs to be replaced at 1670 dollars along with some other recommended services totally 2800 dollars and then tells my wife she should be lucky we aren’t charging you the 185 dollar diagnostic fee.
