I am always very nervous and anxious when it comes to buying a car. It has never been a pleasant experience for me. I just purchased a new Altima from this dealership, and unbeleivable as it may seem, it was a truly pleasant experience. There was no relay between different levels of management, no good cop/bad cop, and no high pressure tactics. Everything was open and up front. I originally planned to purchase the 3.5L SE model. However, there were none in the colors I wanted anywhere from New York to Virginia (I was able to look at the computer screen right over Kevin's shoulder). As a result I ended up looking at the 2.5L SL model, which was available in my color choice, and we made a deal which I was very pleased with. The amazing thing is that this entire process took only approximately one hour. I am extremely pleased with this experience (as I was 7 1/2 years ago, when I purchased my previous car from this dealership), and would highly recommend Herb Gordon Nissan, and these salespeople in particular, to anyone. I'm really glad to have found Herb Gordon, after a very lengthy search for a new car. I did lots of research online, and went to several dealerships in the area, before I settled on a Nissan Altima. I found a great deal at a different dealership, but wanted to make sure I couldn't do any better... So I contacted all the Nissan dealerships within a 30 mile radius, to see where I could find the best deal. Herb Gordon was the cheapest - but more importantly, it was the friendliest. I got a great quote within minutes, and went to take a look at the car. It was just what I wanted. JD was really nice, and it didn't hurt that he graduated from my school... Go Gators!! What impressed me, was that the price I was quoted over the phone, is exactly what I paid. The only fees tacked on were taxes, registration, and the $99 dealer processing fee. The reason for my "4 Star," rating on price, was the interest rate. I'll be refinancing soon, but wish I didn't have to go through the hassle or the paperwork. I have an excellent credit rating, and felt that I should have been offered a more competitive rate by NMAC. The financing is really the only part of the process I'm unhappy with. Outside of that, I found them to be an honest dealership. Even if I had found a cheaper quote elsewhere, I would probably have bought my car at Herb Gordon. I had a pretty positive experience overall... I already have, and will likely continue to recommend them to friends. I plan to have my car serviced there everytime, and expect to be pretty happy. Excellet customer service. Followed the rules IRT interaction with USAA customers. I provided them a criteria and they worked to meet it. Only concern, my vehicle only came with a little over a interaction with USAA customers. I provided them a criteria and they worked to meet it. This concern might not seem like much but it makes me wonder if this is how I can expect service from the dealer (less than perfect). Considering the dealer did everything good its a shame to have delivered a product with only a half-tank of gas. More

My experience with Herb Gordon Nissan was a very positive one. I found my Nissan Rogue on line thru cars.com & contacted the dealership to see if the car I saw on line was in fact available. I was told that it was & was asked if I wanted to come in for a test drive. I definitely wanted to come in ASAP, because the Rogue looked really HOT on line. I came in for a test drive two days later. When I got there the car was parked in front of the dealership & had a sign on the front windshield with my name on it that said "Reserved for..." I liked that a lot & hadn't had that happen before. It was a nice touch. I went for a nice long test drive, not a short swing around the block. The car handled fantastic. I spoke with JD & Justin & ended up buying the car that afternoon because it was exactly what I wanted & I liked it so much. JD was a pleasure to deal with. I feel like the Rouge that I got was made just for me. More

I was referred to Herb Gordon Nissan through AAA's car buying service. My first thought was, there could not possibly be a good enough reason for me to travel from Woodbridge, VA to Silver Spring, MD to buying service. Charlie Miller contacted me promptly and let me know that salesman JD would be contacting me soon, and he did. JD worked with me and was very patient even though I quickly found out the exact Altima I wanted was not going to be easy to find. He quickly found MY Altima and had it delivered to his dealership and it was ready and waiting for me when I arrived for my appointment. Car buying is always a very stressful experience for me but JD went above and beyond to make my experience as comfortable as possible and well worth the trip. Last but definitely not least...the price JD quoted me over the phone was the same as the final purchase price. There was no padding prices with hidden fees or taxes. More
