i had been looking everywhere for a the car i bought from jason at herb chambers. i had called to see if they had any on the lot and there was not because i was looking for a subaru not a toyota. about 2 day jason at herb chambers. i had called to see if they had any on the lot and there was not because i was looking for a subaru not a toyota. about 2 days later i got a phone call from Jason saying they had the car i had been looking for from the start. so i went to look at it and i took it for a test drive. jason took me inside and we ran some numbers and it was pretty reasonable sounding. and jason was able to give me a real good price on my truck for the trade in. all in all i was verry happy with my experience and i didnt feel like i was taken advantage of. jason is a greal car salesmen and i highly recomend him to everyone who enters there to purchace a car. My wife and I went to Herb Chambers Toyota of Auburn to compare the new Highlander with the Venza, with the idea of trading in our eight year old Highlander. The salesman we worked with was Jimmy Eldean, who was courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the process. He had the new car ready for us two days earlier than promised, and took care of transferring the registration and getting an inspection sticker for the new car. All in all, buying this car was a not-unpleasant experience, contrary to my expectations. More

first time at this dealership, greeted by jason. he was very cocky and seemed very conceited, yet had only been selling cars for 2 months. i told him what i wanted, where i had seen it and he second guesse very cocky and seemed very conceited, yet had only been selling cars for 2 months. i told him what i wanted, where i had seen it and he second guessed my knowledge, asking if i had read the fine print, which i had. when i asked the difference between a camry and corolla, he asked how many passengers i would have, and with my boyfriend there, asked how many boyfriends id have in the car.rude. he continued to be rude to my boyfriend, making comments on his accessories, and pretty much losing interest from me in the first 5 minutes. after a test drive and running numbers, he told me that if my car wasnt worth what i thought it was and what the guy approved it for, it would be coming out of his pay, which made me uncomfortable, and then tried to book an appointment asap, when i wanted to wait and look elsewhere, he wasnt very happy with that and made it known. they also make you sign a paper upfront stating that your trade in is what you say it is, which is also uncomfortable. on the way out, he "had" to let a manager say thank you to us, which was more of a debriefing of what happened, and the manager couldnt have showed less interest. it was overall an extremely uncomfortable situation, he made both my boyfriend and i want to leave, and as much as i may have liked the car, i would never go back there to buy anything, or send anyone there, ever.
