This is my 3rd purchase from Herb Chambers Toyota. My sales rep Jimmy Eldean was very informitive and kepted us informed all throught out the process of leasing our 2013 Tacoma 4x4. I recommended this dealer to a freind of mine and when we brought his car in they did the work but, We encountered problems with the vehicle and when we brought it back to have them look at, as an example we brought his car in they did the work but, We encountered problems with the vehicle and when we brought it back to have them look at, as an example we left when he got home there was transmission fluid leaking on the ground, we didn't even have any work done on the transmission and what another garage said is that the trans-axel was popped out of the trans and we never had a problem with it. We later brought it back because of sludge in the filter, which we never had that problem either and they told us that the intake manifold was leaking into the engine and that it would cost about a little over 1000.00 dollars to fix it ,so we had them do the repair, about two weeks later we were on the highway in Boston and blew the engine. Of course we heard from them that it was an older car "a 1998 and that that happens, well we knew that the regular maintenance was done on the vehicle and never had the problems that occurred, like when we went to leave after they did an alignment they force the shifter , causeing it to lock the ignition, there's a safety switch in the shifter so that you can't shut the car off, until the shifter is in the proper position, well the forced the shifter bending the linkage and we couldn't get the car to start, then they misdiagosed the problem and said that the problem was in the ignition key switchand drilled out the ignition, when they finished doing that they called and told us they'd have to keep it alittle longrbecause even though they changed the ignition switch they still couldn't start the car I told them as we did before it was in the shifter, they fixed the shifter and the car started. but when they made out the paperwork they Omitted the fact they had screwed up, this is a very untruthful, and untrustworthy dealership, deffinately not a dealer you want working on a car over ten years old because the next thing you'll be hearing is how old it is and that you should buy one of their used cars instead, they were pushinf hard for that. I wouldn't recomend them to anyone ever again , I think they should be investigate for causeing problems with peoples' cars in an attempt to sell you one of theirs! this has been my experience, and I'm sure we weren't the only one's. I'm going to complain to the commerce dept in Auburn, and the states Attorney General. More

I first went to Herb Chambers Toyota of Auburn in October. I was in a lease through Hyundai, but wanted to get into the Rav 4 with 4WD. I’m a college student, I want to go to law school next year, October. I was in a lease through Hyundai, but wanted to get into the Rav 4 with 4WD. I’m a college student, I want to go to law school next year, and had no money to put down. My salesman was named Tonny. He was very polite and extremely nice. He worked with me over 2 months trying to get me into the Rav 4 for the price I could afford. He didn’t push me to commit to something that I couldn’t afford; he gave it time until there were more incentives that helped me out. When he thought he could get the right price, he called me in, and we met with his manager (who was also very nice). We came up with a great deal. I am extremely happy with my experience, and was very pleased with Tonny. I signed the deal on a Thursday night, and he told me that he would try his best to get me in the car the next day. I was doubtful they would be able to get everything done in time considering I wasn’t able to drop the final paperwork off until Friday around 4:00. He pushed everything through that day, and worked late just to get me in the car on Friday!!! He really went above and beyond. He explained all of the features of the car, and answered all of the questions I had. I looked around at other dealerships, and have never had such a great salesman. I would recommend Tonny to everyone, and will go back to him for any future purchases. He was meant for his job, and I think all other salesmen should be more like him. If you go to Herb Chambers Toyota, ask for Tonny. More
