Michael provided me wonderful service. He was patient with me, detailed in his explanation and considerate in his recommendations. He deserves recognition for his professionalism. However, I’m upset that I have 15k miles on my car and all 4 rotors are warped. The basic criteria for this is if the car isn’t driven for long periods of time or other environmental factors. Neither of which apply to my car. So, my take away from this is that Kia manufacturers probably used low quality rotors. I’m now having to drive a 1 year old car that shakes when I brake or pay $1300 to replace all four. The warrantee only covers up to 12k miles. I’ve been a loyal customer of Kia. This is my second telluride. I didn’t have these issues with my first. I called Kia services to escalate the concern and while the representative was also very professional with me, she offered me no reasonable solution. She stated “Kia has to take the advice of the dealership”. This is low quality customer care on Kia’s part. More
I know many will tell you it is more expensive to service your car at a dealer, but all in all the price was comparable and there is something to be said for knowing the work is being done right and by someo your car at a dealer, but all in all the price was comparable and there is something to be said for knowing the work is being done right and by someone familiar with your car. Made an appointment for a recall a month ago. Arrived today to have it done waited an hour for them to tell me they didn’t have the part. What was the point of making the appointment???
