My Honda needed scheduled maintenance but I also wwas experiencing problems with tires and brakes. After my auto was seen, Paul gave me a very detailed explanation of what needed to be done. He was careful to differentiate between what needed to be done immediately for safety reasons and what could be put off until the next scheduled maintenance visit. Paul was efficient, sensitive to my time needs, kept me regularly updated as to status and was thorugh iun explaining the work done. My experience has always been very good at Chambers Honda but I think Paul should be singled out for making me feel knowledgeable and comfortable in dealing with the repair issues and servicing. More

Having to write in essay forms to evaluate a person will discourage all middle-ground opinions, which research has shown (where only the extremes are captured), resulting in less than fair representation of the polling population. With all of that said: Paul was extremely friends and swift in getting the job done; kept me informed and acted fairly. When I had a bit of an issue where the tired pressure light did not dim after the tire fix, he immediately apologize for the over sight and noted that it was probably just the fact the car had to go over 20 or 25miles an hour. He actually got in the car with me to make sure the light went out. That extra bit really showed his professionalism. I only rate the price a 4 because I don't know how much the actual product costs to make a comparison, but from previous experiences, definitely not too high. More
I was a little frustrated when I originally walked into the service center as I had come to Herb Chambers to have the car problem fixed about a year earlier. Paul did an excellent job talking with me and actually getting an understanding of what the issue was. He asked me some detailed questions about the issue and seemed genuinely involved with me and the problem I was having. Paul promised me that he would make sure the cause of the issue was identified and the problem resolved - and he delivered on that promise. Paul did a great job of making me feel like a valued customer and not just another person through the door. Although I think Paul stands out from most people I've dealt with, I believe Herb Chambers does a great job of making sure all of their employees treat you right and the quality of work performed on your car is second to none. I've always had a good experience there and would definitely recommend the dealership. More

I have purchased a 2000 Honda Civic (new), and a 2007 Honda Pilot (used). I have nothing but good things to say about this dealer. I was extremely happy when I picked up my Pilot after an oil change se Honda Pilot (used). I have nothing but good things to say about this dealer. I was extremely happy when I picked up my Pilot after an oil change service. Not only was the oil changed, but the car was vaccuumed (front and back) and the vinyl was even wiped down. I also received a print out with information pertaining to the remaining life of my tires, and brake pads. I think it is easy to make a good impression on the showroom for a potential customer, but to do the same for service customers means a lot more. Anthony, Alex, and Liz have been great to deal with. I even received a follow up call to make sure everything was OK. My next car purchase will definitely be from this dealership. More

I am more than willing to give them another shot at earning my business... Recently i visited Herb Chambers of Boston for an oil change and was very disappointed in the service i received. I contacted the service department via phone to set up a service appointment. During the initial contact i asked if Herb Chambers honored competitors coupons even if it was from a different brand (GM)(They advertise they match all competitors coupons on their website). I was told that it would be honored and was asked how much it was for. I responded with did it matter..And the service adviser said no. Fast forward to Sept 3, 2010. I came into the location and met with a service advisor who looked at my coupon and said he could not honor it because it was priced to low. Contradictory to what i was told on the phone he said that he wouldn't honor a GM coupon stating that he was not competing with GM. I begged to differ because apparently GM is competing with Honda. He offered me an alternative offer that was $10 over my coupon. I feel this was a bait and switch tactic used by the service department. More
Wow, this is the first word that comes to mind working with this dealership. Shopping for my new Accord was less than desirable, until walking into this dealership and being greeted by Younes (A new sale with this dealership. Polite, courteous and a gentleman, Younes addressed my needs and helped me select the perfect Accord in the perfect color. Mr. Schepise (The General Sales Manager) was knowledgable and quite charming, while making the negotiation process easy and advantageous for both parties. After visiting most dealerships I typically feel like I need a shower, but this dealership is head and shoulders above the rest. I will be a frequent customer of the service department and may visit just to say hello. I would reccomend this dealer to anyone looking for a new or used Honda. Again, thank you Herb Chambers for finding and employing such a world-class staff. More
I've been dealing with these guys for 20+ years and they're fantastic. Their customer service is great. They schedule appointments quickly and keep you informed of your vehicle's repair status. I've never had to bring my vehicle back for something they didn't fix correctly the first time. The service people are friendly and don't try to sell you services you don't need. I trust them. They're very reasonable pricewise and don't try to nickel-and-dime you every chance they get. They understand that there are a lot of places to have your vehicle serviced, so they go out of their way to always do their best to make sure you come back. They also have a shuttle that can take you pretty much anywhere in Boston and the surrounding communities if you leave your vehicle for the day. Their waiting area is spacious and they have TVs and computers available if you wait for your vehicle. More
