We are a couple who were planning on buying our first new car and had been referred to this dealership. Lets start to say....We had a horrible experience at this dealership. We went to this dealership with a mind set to buy a car if we get a good deal for the car and the accessories we were looking for, however, nothing like that happened. We got greeted at the front door by a Sales Associate named Jonathan P. and ask what we were looking for today.. We explained that we already knew we would like to buy a CR-V. He took us in to the showroom over to his desk. Ask us if we would like to take a look at the CR-V maybe even test drive one. We told him that we for sure wanted to look at the car... He took our names and addresses.. phone numbers as well has the model and color we had told him we had already decided on... He than explained to us about Cert. Pre-owned cars... which we at that point told him, we where not necessarily that interested in.. He than took us to CR-V model right behind his desk and explained all the features, safety features, etc. to us... right after that the pushing for the sale started. He kept telling us that there are only limited cars available due to the happenings in Japan.. which we already new.. he explained the price.. were we ask if he maybe able to come down with the price.. or what other options there are for us.. we explained that we had done some research before hand and gave him a figure, which at that point he completely lost, in our opinion, his tamper and told us we are waisting his and the companies time.. and costing the company $50-60/hr if we do not sign a deal right now... We ask him to give us a figure that we would be able to work with and be happy with and he kept pushing and pushing for us to sign a purchasing contract without even asking of what else we where looking to have installed for the car.... We told him that we did not appreciate his pushing.. and would like some time to think about this, as it is our first big purchase.. but he did choose not to listen to us.. telling us that we are not serious in buying a car today.. and again waisting his time... however, he would gladly shake our hand if we would walk away at some other dealer with a good price on the car... As he got so frustrated he had the SM come over to speak to us and we explained the situating.. however, did not even get to bring up half the things that Jonathan had said to us.. The SM was very nice and said that we could work with him if we decided to.. however, for us first impressions count.. and we would have quite happily paid a little more for a car.. if we would have felt that we would get great customer service after... which we absolutely did not that this dealership. We are all for giving people second changes, however, we both come from the service industry as well and we do not agree with Jonathan's sales strategies.. and again sometimes first impressions are the once that count the most... which was the case here... We went off to another dealer.. straight from there.. got great customer service, felt taken care of and bought our first new car... not even two hour after we left Herb Chambers. More
After deciding to lease a new crossover, we had narrowed our choice to the honda crv or the toyota rav4. The typical 'buy today or you are taking your chances' nonsense....Not a big thing, but caused us to take a day or two more to think about it and do our 'due diligence' on the honda. Now I am happy we did! Our experience at Herb Chambers Honda was excellent. Our representative, Sam, was friendly and knowledgeable. He explained the differences ans similarities of the CRV vs. the RAV4 and really turned our preference around to the Honda. After some basic questions we took a nice long test drive. When my wife & I wondered aloud to each other how the vehicle would fit in our garage space, Sam said "lets go see!" So we did, and of course it fit fine. We quicky arrived at the rate we wanted on the lease, and everything about the purchase agreement was very efficient. Our preferred trim and color was located in 2 days. The finance guy, was also very helpful and efficient. No pressure, but when he explained the dent/ding insurance we could buy for the lease we signed up. The dealership contacted our insurance agent when they promised, and delivered the car at the time and date we requested - with plates, a shine, and a full tank of gas (nice!). Sam called us regularly with updates and let us know he had listened to our questions. We got a nice tour of the shop, an explanation of the maintenance schedule and fees, and were on our way on ddelivey day in less than 30 minutes. One day into it we are feeling very good about our choice. More
My experience with my salesman, Owen Otubu, was great, across the board—he was helpful, friendly, reliable, and able to answer my questions. The sole reason that I cannot give the "Overall Experience" bet across the board—he was helpful, friendly, reliable, and able to answer my questions. The sole reason that I cannot give the "Overall Experience" better than (3) is that my experience with the finance office—or rather, the wait to deal with the finance office—was pretty excruciating. The finance office seemed to be understaffed/overburdened, forcing me to wait around the showroom for well over four hours, total, over the course of three days before they had time for me. Otherwise, the entire process would have been rather quick and painless. More
Well, I went to Herb Chambers Honda at Allston, MA to get some information on leading a new car. I was attended tp by Keva Williams, sales executive. She has been very vibrant all through the deal. She got everything done and closed an unbelievable deal for us in less than a week. I should specially thank Sosa, the business manager for trying so hard to get me approved for the lease. I cant thank Keva enough for her warmth, patience and friendliness. Overall, I would recommend Herb Chambers Honda at Allston,MA to anybody looking to lease a new car, and especially Keva Williams. If she is busy when you go to Herb Chambers, wait for her or come back another day for her WITH appointment, and I bet you are in good hands. More

We are not easy customers because we used to think a lot before to make any important purchase, but Keva knew exactly how to help us, with a lot of patience. We felt very quickly comfortable with her, and she made our experience happen smoothly, and always in a good mood. Today, everyone of our family enjoys our new car, and every time we drive, we can't stop thinking that Keva really found the best fit to our family. Keva Williams is not only a great salesperson, she is also a warm and friendly woman that we are happy to meet. We definitively recommend Keva Williams to our friends for all kind of deal about a car, because we know for sure that she will be able to assist them according their needs and their budget. More

I came into the dealership at 1pm on Saturday, and drove out in a new car by 6pm.
