In mid-October, I purchased a new 2024 VW Golf R from Hendrick VW. After doing a lot of on-line research on the car websites, dealer websites, and of course VW’s website, I knew exactly the model and co Hendrick VW. After doing a lot of on-line research on the car websites, dealer websites, and of course VW’s website, I knew exactly the model and color I wanted. What I did not expect was to walk into Hendrick VW Frisco and meet Serghei. He could not have been nicer and more accommodating, and proved himself to be both an expert on the R as well as a true enthusiast. Between Serghei and his sales manager Kevin H., the overall experience was the best I have ever had buying a car. There was no pressure, they kept their word, and I kept mine. Although not necessarily standard practice for a buyer, and dealerships prefer buyers to finance their purchases through them, I paid for the car outright and neither the Sales nor Finance Departments made any effort to dissuade me from doing so. The Golf R might be the best car I have ever owned; it is certainly the most fun. I regularly receive compliments from other car enthusiasts and even had an Aston Martin Rapide owner stop me at a gas station to praise it. I highly recommend Hendrick VW Frisco, Serghei and Kevin H. to anyone interested in purchasing a VW. They will take great care of you before, during and after the sales process. More
