Hendrick Motor of Charlotte has earned my trust for over 12 years now. Our most recent contact with service, sales, parts and financial was - as ALWAYS - great. The people are the best by far. They set the standard for great customer service! A very special thanks to manager Ed, Blake in service, Efrem in sales and Dick in financial. I could not even begin to thank the many, many other friendly voices and faces of the others that make the Hendrick Motors of Charlotte experience so welcomed to Mrs Rice and I. I'm 52 years old. I've owned almost every make of automobile, and Hendrick Mercedes is absolutely the worst place for car service I have ever experienced. And I should know, because like an idiot, I automobile, and Hendrick Mercedes is absolutely the worst place for car service I have ever experienced. And I should know, because like an idiot, I've purchased three cars from this dealership. Never again. 1. Most often repairs are not repaired and I have to bring the car back. Sometimes, three and four times! 2. Sometimes the requested repair is done, but they mess up something else when doing the repair! I once drove home from Hendrick service with my gas tank leaking like a sieve! 3. Getting warranty repairs done is almost impossible. They can find a million reasons why they "are not allowed" to do your warranty work. 4. Make an appointment and schedule a loaner, then get there and wait for 30 minutes while the "warm up" the loaner. This place is horrible. Absolutely horrible. More
Mercedes taken in for service "B". Paid $400.00 when car was picked up after eight hours at Hendrick service. Notice tires were not rotated. Called Hendrick service to be told I had a probl $400.00 when car was picked up after eight hours at Hendrick service. Notice tires were not rotated. Called Hendrick service to be told I had a problem with the rear tires. The tires could not be rotated due to the rear problems. Independent tire store could not identify any problems. I returned the car to Hendrick with request to show me the tire problem. I was told a service tech was not truthful with his supervisor concerning my car. I requested a full refund. Next day, at an independent service center, it was determined Hendrick did not complete any of the service B. I question Hendrick's quality control and/or integrity. I have not received any communication from Hendrick to recover my business (15 year Mercedes owner). I did not receive the usual "were you pleased with our service" questionnaire. If you don't have the ability to evaluate 100% of Hendrick's Mercedes service(or do it yourself when you get home), my experience would suggest you consider another Mercedes dealer service center which has a quality control program administered with integrity. I purchased a car from this dealership, which turned out to be the biggest mistake of my life. The deal was bad (my fault since I didn't do my homework up front). Not only that, the car has turned out to to be the biggest mistake of my life. The deal was bad (my fault since I didn't do my homework up front). Not only that, the car has turned out to be a real lemon...something I never expected from Mercedes-Benz. There is no other Mercedes dealership in this area, so they have a lock on the market. Unfortunate, for customers because once you buy a car from them, you're stuck! The customer service is downright awful. Unless you are one of the city's 'good ole boys' or you purchase a high-end model, you're treated poorly. I would never shop or visit this dealership again! More
