My husband and I have owned 5 Mercedes over our lifetime and in 2013 began our journey to build our dream car, a cardinal red, Wow, where do I begin? My husband and I have owned 5 Mercedes over our lifetime and in 2013 began our journey to build our dream car, a cardinal red, Mercedes Bluetech, in the stylish new sports package to replace our 2005 Mercedes CDI that was still going strong with 250K miles! My husband, retired Army Lt. Colonel, researched the Mercedes diesel cars for 2 years before we purchased our first diesel in Oct of 2004. The car was a dream machine that runs like a gas engine but offers the economy of a diesel engine with up to 42 miles per gallon on the interstate. It is absolutely the best car we ever owned and there was never a doubt that we were replacing it with the same car, only newer, sleeker and offering exceptional updated technology. So...the dream began, with the help of the BEST sales person ever, Sean Taffe, we began to design our Mercedes Blue Tech in the sport package and color of choice...cardinal red...and we placed our order in the early winter of 2014 using USAA car buying services...and the excitement built. I received updates from Sean on a frequent basis detailing exactly how the car was progressing in Germany. In late March our long term dream came true and the most beautiful car we had ever seen was sitting on the showroom floor of the exceptional new Hendricks Motors Of Charlotte Mercedes dealership. The car and the dealership and most importantly, Sean Taffe, far exceeded our expectations. It was a fairytale experience and I hope everyone purchasing a Mercedes has this same exceptional experience! Thank you to everyone at Mercedes for making this happen!
