Since I've been coming here, I've received nothing but the best service. Andy Lin is my preferred service advisor, but really everyone is so nice and professional. I do find the labor rate to be a little high, but really, it's high across the board across all dealers and makes these days. At least at Helms Bros., I get excellent service to back it up. My only problem is that I sometimes have trouble using the online service portal. I think it's an issue with Adobe Flash with the website or something. I've had this problem on several computers, so it has to be the site. Also, I was just looking to schedule an appointment for November 11th, but according to the online site, all of November is booked up. And as far as the new Saturday hours, the website shows nothing available well into 2012. I seriously doubt that's correct, and I assume it's some kind of website issue. If all of those appointments are in fact taken, then I guess there's a whole lot of people out there with too much time on their hands ;-) All in all these are really minor issues, and I am 100% satisfied in my dealings with Helms Bros., and with Mercedes-Benz in general. I should have bought a Benz years ago, but hey, better late than never. Truly outstanding service, keep treating me right, and I'll keep coming back! More

First, I wanted to write to let you know how happy I am with my new Mercedes Benz C-Class-then I thought I wouldn’t be this happy if it wasn’t for Herman Ospina & John Kunz. They both were great with explaining everything about the car. Both knowledgeable, very respectful and just all around nice people. I never for one minute felt I was being pushed to make a purchase. Both also told me that I could call ANYTIME with questions – thank you for that because I had some. I trust them and will definitely refer family & friends. I went to Helms. Bros. service for a simple bulb change. When I arrive to the service dept. I waited around 10 mins. until someone acknowledged I was there for service. I can barely understand what he was saying because of his heavy Spanish accent and took him 3 tries to correctly copy my vin# off my car! I believe his name tag said Sergio. After that I proceeded to walk inside where no one opened the door for me and I had bags in both hands. I saw one valet just looking at me from the valet office while I struggled with the door and my bags. Well enough said about the lousy greeting! Afterwards I walked to the front desk where I was greeted with more attitude and to top it off the girl was on her cell phone. NICE! I was seated in the waiting area for around 20 mins. where I was entertained by Jerry Springer on the TV. Why would a MB dealership have this trash on the television? There was 1/2 a bagel in the basket and maybe 4 Dunkin donuts munchkins for the customers waiting to be called. To top it off the coffee machine was broken! After waiting and waiting I was finally called to see Keith. He seamed pleasant at first but when I told him I was only there for a bulb change his attitude changed right away. He tried to sell me things that I didn't need! I have a 2010 GLK350 and he was trying to sell me a brake flush?????? He also mentioned that my differential fluids should be changed. I am a woman driver so maybe he thought he can "pull the wool over my eyes" as they say. I just sat there and sounded like a broken record. I just kept on saying NO,NO,NO. After that battle Keith told me to have a seat in the waiting area and the bulb change wouldn't take more than 30 mins. Well after 45 mins. of waiting I walked up to a valet that was trying to fix the coffee machine and asked him if he can help me and please check on my car. He turns around and tells me to check at the front desk. He was more involved with fixing the coffee machine than helping me with my situation. At this point I was late for work and proceeded to go find Keith. He was not at his desk so I went to the front desk to ask the girl with the attitude what was happening with my car. She told me to go to the cashier's counter and ask the girl there what was happening with my car. It seemed like nobody was willing to help me in this place. I just wanted my car, fixed or not fixed so I can just leave!!!!! I proceeded to the cashier's counter where I was greeted with more attitude!!!!! I can't believe this place!!!!! The girl asked for my last name so I gave it to her and she goes "Oh! your car is in the car wash, Keith didn't tell you?". The cashier handed me my receipt and told me that I wouldn't be charged this time and to wait outside so the valet can bring me my car. What did she mean that I wouldn't be charged this time???? Keith was nowhere to be found so I can give him a piece of my mind. I guess I am not important enough to Keith or this dealership if I am not spending thousands of dollars. What a shame. I proceeded to go outside to get my car and I didn't see it. I waited and waited and my car wasn't there. Nobody came up to me to ask me what I was waiting for. Finally after waiting 10 mins. a valet comes out of the valet office and asks me what I was waiting for. He asked for my papers and I gave them to him. He went back into his office and left me standing there for another 5 mins. He finally comes back out and tells me that my car is in the wash. I was trying to be very patient and I just wanted my car so I can leave this horrible dealership. After waiting another 10 mins. I see a valet running towards the back of the parking lot and I see my truck parked all the way at the end of the lot. My car had been sitting there for the longest time and the valets had no clue that my truck was there. My truck was totally dirty like it wasn't cleaned at all!!!!! To top it off I have a light colored interior and my floor mats had greasy boot marks all over them. This is the WORST dealership I have been too and will tell all my friends about the horrible experience that I had there. All over a simple bulb change!!!!!! This dealership is a complete MESS!!!!!! I have just completed the purchase of a CPO ML-350 from Helms Brothers Mercedes Benz. This is the second purchase I have made from Helms in the past 6 months. Their service, quality of vehicle and pricing are the best I could possibly find anywhere (I travelled from Princeton New Jersey both times to complete the purchases). From the moment you walk into their freshly renovated showroom you understand that their attention to detail is unparalled. There is also no need to waste ,your time on endless negotiations as their price is right up front, mitigating the need for protracted debate and visits to "see my manager". Also, they only stock absolutely first class used cars. I couldnt find a vehicle over 3 years old with more than 30,000 miles on the lot. Both of my recent purchases have been CPO cars from Helms and my neighbors can not believe that they are not new cars. In closing, i would say that no matter how far the trip, getting to Helms is definitely worth it. More

In the past, I have made my Mercedes Benz purchases at Silver Star, but that is just that, in the past, for the most part, because of your employees. First and foremost, Mr. Michael Nekava is a phenomenal sales associate, and he will be mine for life. His attention to detail is astounding. He truly made me feel at home the minute I walked through the door. He stood by me throughout the purchase, and even has stayed in touch after the sale to ensure my happiness. To this day he is still in contact to ensure my happiness, and letting me know of current deals and incentives. Needless to say, my parents and cousin are currently working with him to get into a new Mercedes. Mikey truly is now part of our family. I also had the pleasure of dealing with Ms. Jennifer Lang who appraised my vehicle and made certain that I was taken care of when I was at the showroom during the vehicle purchase process. A straight shooter if I ever saw one. Her kindness and persona are only rivaled by her professionalism and work ethic. She truly is an asset to your dealership, and a diamond in the rut. She has an uncanny knack for keeping all the xxxxx in the air and getting the job done right the first time. My best interest was now handed over to Mr. John Kunz, who impressed me from the moment he entered the room. His intense attention to customer satisfaction enhanced my purchasing experience and totally made me feel like part of the Helms family. He was relentless in the pursuit of my happiness and making sure I was completely happy with my vehicle. He went over that ML with a fine tooth comb to ensure my satisfaction. His professionalism and work ethic is only rivaled by his million dollar smile and movie star looks. Upon vehicle delivery, I also had the good fortune of dealing with Mr. Ricardo Faria, and Mr. Matthew Pennoyer. Both gentlemen were professional and caring. He carefully explained to me the various available finance options and made me feel very comfortable with my purchase. I also contacted him a few times after I purchased my vehicle and he always responded quickly and addressed all of my concerns. Mr. Kunz is a gentleman with commendable moral ethics and was responsible for the excellent experience my family and I shared at Helms Bros. The biggest difference at this dealership was the care and personal attention we received. In every transaction they took the burden upon themselves to make sure that we had to go thru as little effort as possible. They were very approachable with every question we had and even months later they are still helpful with every new question we have about our car. The staff is super friendly and our overall experience there was one for the books! More
