I had been shopping slightly used SL 63 AMGs for a few weeks and new I wanted the car. There were several options in the market from leftover 2011's to low mileage 2012's. I was actively visiting local dealers to look at what they had and Helm's was on my list. I had seen a 2012 on their website with a few executive miles and decided to check it out even though I felt it would be out of my range. My treatment was spectacular from the moment I walked in. I asked for Frank because I had called him to ask about the car. He was busy with another customer but showed me the car and told me he'd be with me shortly. NO LESS THAN ^ people asked me if I needed help or would I like some water or coffee while I waited. John Kunz - The Used car sales Manager came over and we talked. He put no pressure on me whatsoever but asked to appraise my trade while I waited for Frank. John clearly understood my position on the value of the cars and went out of his way to make the deal work. I have bought many cars for myself and friends and I was genuinely surprised he was able to get to where I wanted but he went out of his way to put the entire deal together - Including the financing - Which was a match to my credit union. From start to finish this is a first class dealership. No arrogance, just great customer service, a friendly attitude and a commitment to get you in the car you want in a way that will make you feel comfortable. EVERY employee there congratulated me while we were waiting for the paperwork (Which didn't take long) - I drove in at 11:30 and drove the car home at 3:00 and that included about 1/2 hour of me deciding on the deal. If you are looking for a Mercedes these are the guys to see!! More
I rolled into the Helms Bros dealership without a scheduled appointment 30 min before closing time in my 2009 CLK350 I recently bought from a used car lot. The navigation and bluetooth wasn't working, my owners manual said i would need genuine Mercedes Benz pieces to get them to work. I was trying to express this to the receptionist but seemed to only confuse her, luckily for me John Kunz was near by her desk and asked to see my car. John is very familiar with what was required for my car and within 20 min he had my navigation and my bluetooth working but he didn't stop there. John scanned my vin no. and informed me that I still have 4 mo left on my factory warranty, gave me directions to the service dept facility and told me to schedule an appointment at my convenience. I made the appointment with service the next morning, dropped off my car that afternoon and spoke to my new personal service advisor about what will be done to my car. The next morning I was informed the front brakes had no pad material left and my rotors were chewed up, that must have been the grinding noise i heard when I would step on the brakes hard. That afternoon I picked up my car after work and the car was buttoned up and tidy, new rotors and pads a bunch of little problems were fixed my bluetooth and navigation worked.......I can't believe how straight forward this whole experience was. I bought a 2004 GTO brand new and the dealership gave me nothing but drama, attitude and excuses every time something came up,and the prices are identical but the quality of this CLK and the way I was made to feel welcome at this dealership, is way better. John Kunz is a super professional! I'm buying my cars from this dealership from now on. Super happy. More

I liked the fact that when we said we wanted to think about the purchase, that our wishes were respected without further sales pitches. For us that made a significant difference in feeling comfortable returning when we decided this was the vehicle for us. Overall, the experince at Helms was pleasant and stress free.
