My husband and I have had all the service work done on our last 3 cars by Heiser. Quinn Mihalski and Mike Catanese are wonderful. They do whatever needs to get done in a timely manner. They also are polit our last 3 cars by Heiser. Quinn Mihalski and Mike Catanese are wonderful. They do whatever needs to get done in a timely manner. They also are polite and courteous to work with. They are by far the most professional people to do business with and truly live up to Heiser's motto "Anything's possible." Heiser is also reasonable on price as well as quality. I drove from Indiana to Wisconsin to get the best deal on a Chevy SUV! No one else could come close! Everything was ready when we arrived. Salesman was courtious and prompt. Used AAA pricing and 3 dealers were sent to me. Illinois dealer had lowest price so I called Heiser and they met their price. I came to just take a car to get it checked by my private mechanic. I saw on car fax its been in an accident. Made me wait 45 mins before they would let me. My mechanic told and should me how negligent they were. The lower joint bolt was missing and one harsh bump would have cause a deadly car accident. The radiator was also severely leaking. I got back after my mechanic fixed their main problem. The manager Bruce told me "We inspected it and it is verified." Obviously not... As I told him, trying to control myself. He had the nerve to barely say sorry has he ignored me the best he could. I told him this is very negligent and could have been a law suite. Response??? "Human error happens." HUMAN ERROR HAPPENS!!! We could have died at any pot hole when the wheel would have fell off! So much more! Dont buy there. They are very corrupt. More
It was bad enough that I had to endure the noise and inconvenience of the remodeling project during my visit while they replaced my rear brake pads and rotors. Then the fact that the service writer, Mike, said it would take 1-1/2 hours, tops, to do the work, it actually took three hours. When I approached Mike to find out why it was taking so long he showed me that a caliper was frozen and they were trying to free it up. This was the supposed reason for the delay. Later I found out the real reason was that the service people were at a meeting. This is how Heiser Chevrolet treats the customer???? Lies do not sit well with me. It's a poor business practice, to say the least. To add to the hurt, the cashier wouldn't honor a 15% discount coupon that I had left at home by at least telling me to bring it in and they'd refund the amount from my credit card. Oh no, that would be treating the customer nicely. No more Heiser for ME!!!!!!!!! Ralph More
i bought a brand new malibu maxx lt 2004. the steering column needed to get replaced which is a common problem with the new electric steering on these cars. after Heiser did this my car has had nothing b column needed to get replaced which is a common problem with the new electric steering on these cars. after Heiser did this my car has had nothing but problems. it pulls to the left and is off center and they claim that this is fixed. i called the GM, Chris Meyer and after 4 calls he hung up on me because i guess he was sick of hearing of problems. I told him they caused the problem, they have to own the problem now. Ron the Service Manager denies any problem on the car.<br><br>If you want to buy a car from them they love you. if you have a repair problem they hate you and ignore you,.<br><br>I DON'T RECOMMEND HEISER CHEVROLET! I purchased a NEW truck from Heiser Chevrolet in 1993 & had it serviced at that location on three separate occasions. On the last occasion I noticed that a part of my engine had been replaced with a "Ju & had it serviced at that location on three separate occasions. On the last occasion I noticed that a part of my engine had been replaced with a "Junk" part. I immediately spoke with the GM Frank Lisiak & I informed him of what happened. He said that he would look into it & call me back. He NEVER called back. I called him four times & he stated that I was wrong even though my neighbor & wife could confirm that the part was replaced with a "Junk" part. I told him that I just wanted my Original part back in my vehicle. He yelled, "That is your Original part" at which point I said I would take them to court & he replied, "Go Ahead Do what you got to do" & hung up. I did sue & won in court. This is the WORSE treatment that I have ever received from anyone or any business. BEWARE OF HEISER.... More
