Usually, dealerships may be good at one but not the other. Hawk is one of those dealership that is good at both. I was doing a 1000 mile radius search for an Alltrack. From the moment I connected with the salesperson - Jose Guzman - everything was excellent. I asked for their best , all-in price quote, and I did not get the "hey! When can you come in to test drive the car?" pitch (duh - I am 750 miles away - did you even read my e-mail?). They did not take a "hey - he's not going to bring the car here for service, so why should we give him our best quote" approach. Their quote was right on point - Jose - and the sales manager, Sam - gave me their best price the same day. They picked me up from O'Hare - over 30 miles away - and the sales process was done in an hour. The finance manager, Mike, was great - we were through the paperwork in 10 easy minutes - and all that was left was the 750 mile drive home (erk). I would HIGHLY recommend Jose and everyone at Hawk - it was an excellent car buying experience! More

I took my daughter there to look at leasing a car with paper in hand of things we needed to have in order to go ahead with any deal. $2500 for her trade-in and a payment of $200 a month or less. Andrew promised us the moon but told us that in a lease we would not be able to get all of the dealer incentives ($4,068.00) as if we were purchasing. Fine Andrew what can you do we ask? His response to me was only $2000.00 for her trade in and a monthly payment of $197 a month. PERFECT!!! I replied and had to leave for a meeting that I was running late for. My daughter gets home with her new leased car and is very happy until I see the paperwork. She only got $1000.00 for a trade in, made her pay $2000.00 in down payments and most important remember the dealer incentives ($4,068.00) that we could only get part of? She got ZERO dollars. Of course, we went to the dealership to confront them and get an explanation. we were met with rude people, liars, back pedalers, and most of all a salesmen Andrew Freeman who threw the papers back at us because he could not explain or would not explain how he got caught in his lies. Bottom line is.... Dont buy a car or lease a car from Hawk VW or from Andrew Freeman unless you want to hear one number on the car you are looking at, but really want to hear a lie and pay another price. Shame shame on you for taking advantage of a young girl who by the way is a college student living on a very fixed income. Shame Shame Hawk VW. More

We knew what we wanted and sales manager Dave Casey made sure that whole process went without a glitch.
