Mark Cauthen helped me with my purchase of a 2014 MDX. Derek was very knowledgeable of the different models of cars we were interested in, as well as all the options and comparisons with other vehicles. At no time did he speak negatively of Acura's competitio cars we were interested in, as well as all the options and comparisons with other vehicles. At no time did he speak negatively of Acura's competition, but only offered comparative facts. Our trips to other dealers (representing other manufacturers including Harper Audi) revealed that most sales professionals did not posses near the vehicle knowledge as Derek. He was patient with our questions and allowed us to form our own opinions without any pressure. Our prior experience with Harper Acura service (we owned a 2001 MDX and put ~246,000 miles on it) has been very positive, so that was a major contributor to our willingness to use Harper for our next vehicle. We have another manufacturer vehicle, and our experience with that dealer's service department has been less than satisfactory. Needless to say, we won't be shopping for another vehicle of that manufacturer when it comes time. So give your service department a pat on the back, because they were just as instrumental in making the sale. More
