In September, my wife and I purchased a 2013 Ford Escape, 2.0 liter with eco boost, from Hammonasset Ford and our sales person was James Filley. We were delighted with the car and even more delighted with t 2.0 liter with eco boost, from Hammonasset Ford and our sales person was James Filley. We were delighted with the car and even more delighted with the excellent treatment we received from James. In a dealer review at that time I indicated that if I were to purchase another car, it would be from Hammonasset Ford and I'd insist on dealing with James again. We were so pleased with this car that in November, we went back to James to order another Escape. As with the first car, aside from the larger engine, we wanted no bells or whistles. James was more than happy to take our order but suggested we look at a similar Escape, but this time, fully loaded... and at a very competitive price. We did and decided to purchase the car. Now my wife and I vie to see who drives the "new" (November) car and who drives the "old" (September) one. The service, from James was as we expected- professional, personal and informative. But real service can only be estimated if you have a problem and not too long ago a service light flashed on our dashboard. I immediately called James and he told us to bring the car in right away. We did and James introduced us to Bill, Hammonasset's service manager, and Bill assured us that they would look into the problem right away. Because it might take an hour or two to fix the problem, James insisted on driving us home. The problem was soon resolved and after a day or so, James again called to make sure we were satisfied with the service. We of course were, and I will reiterate that when we purchase our next car (and we have a third older car sitting in our driveway) it will be from Hammonasset Ford and specifically from James Filley. I would recommend James Filley to a friend or family member. I had been looked for a car for months and visited many dealerships in Connecticut . Out of everyone I spoke with, he was the only one that k member. I had been looked for a car for months and visited many dealerships in Connecticut . This summer I was looking for a Ford Lightning to purchase. After many hours of dealership and internet shopping I finally found one the one I wanted. It was the cleanest one I found and had all the purchase. After many hours of dealership and internet shopping I finally found one the one I wanted. It was the cleanest one I found and had all the original documentation from Ford which was a huge plus and purchase point. I began to make phone calls and emails on this vehicle and began the experience with CherylAnn Wambolt. From day one she was completely professional and more than willing to deal with me to complete the purchase. I made an offer and she/they agreed to sell. Logistically this deal was more difficult than normal due to the fact that I lived in Virginia and the dealership was in Connecticut. CherylAnn allowed this process to be transparent with all the abnormalities. I decided to fly up to the dealership and it was nothing but first class service from there. CherylAnn arranged for someone to pick me up at the airport and take me to the dealership. From there I felt like a VIP. I walked in and immediately began to sign paperwork with Guy French (extremely professional as well) and no wait from other customers. My name was written on two appointment boards boards stating that I was to arrive that day to finalize the sell. The entire process at the dealership took about 90 minutes from start to finish including the test drive. A full tank of gas was included to begin my journey back down to Virginia.
