By far this was the best car buying experience I have ever been through. When I arrived at the dealership I met Renie Arce our salesmen and it was a pleasant, calm and smooth transaction from there. It was a nice change not to be pressured or tricked into buying something you may have not wanted, needed or even could afford. Renie was extremely helpful and informitive before, during and after the purchase. I had a small problem with the Air Conditioning and Renie introduced me to the service department and they took care of it instantly! Not to mention they gave me a loaner car while the repair was made and best of all....the repair and the loaner car were at NO cost to me. Who does that on a pre owned vehicle? I stopped in a week ago because I saw a particular truck that interested me. This was a completely impulsive stop--I did not think I was in the market for purchasing a vehicle at this time--the truck simpl that interested me. CherylAnn came out and literally hung out with me and we chatted it up about the truck and a few other possibilities. CherylAnn provided me CarFax reports (without even requesting them) and offered her schedule if I ever wanted to have a further discussion. Without feeling any pressure whatsoever, I left the dealership considering that I might seriously consider getting a new vehicle. Over the next two days, I perused their web site and found a couple of other models that interested me in the same price range. I reached back out to CherylAnn over email and she immediately responded. I decided I was going to stop in and do some test drives. From our conversations both in person and over email, CherylAnn knew exactly what I wanted (and ironically it wasn't even the truck that originally caught my eye). The first truck I test drove was the one I fell in love with--I never drove any of the other others. Any concerns I had regarding financing or the standard dealer 'haggling' were quickly squelched. The price on the truck was already below list and any special considerations or arrangements I asked for were accommodated without hesitation. Between CherylAnn's constant 'don't worry about it--we'll take care of it' approach and Guy's 'I already took care of that for you' attitude I am now looking back and realizing I honestly had nothing to worry about through the entire purchase process. I was absolutely in good hands and won't hesitate (and definitely plan) to do business with them again. They not only made me feel comfortable but excited my wife and kids as well. It really felt like a local family business. I highly recommend them for any type of purchase, new or used. More

My experience at Hammonasset was great! I have always been a Chevy guy, but after having an F-150 as a rental for four days I decided it would be my next truck. I had been searching for a new 2013 F-150 been a Chevy guy, but after having an F-150 as a rental for four days I decided it would be my next truck. I had been searching for a new 2013 F-150 FX4 and to my surprise many dealers were not very helpful. I found this odd since I immediately told them I was looking for a new truck. I think many dealers assumed I was just another guy looking to drive a few trucks, price them out, never buy anything, and simply waste their time. My experience at Hammonasset was completely different. I happened to be out window shopping on a Saturday again when I stopped into Hammonasset. James was my Sales Consultant and I was immediately up front that I was not buying a car that day and only looking. I told him what I was looking for and what options I wanted, and rather than trying to sell me something that was close to what I wanted and on the lot, James immediately sat with me to spec out the vehicle. In today’s day and age, I know it’s probably odd to order a vehicle from the factory when there are so many to choose from on the lot, but despite this James spent two hours with me just reviewing options and specs. In the end, we built the exact truck I wanted. He priced it out, “checked with his Manager” and I expected an astronomical price tag given that I knew roughly how much the truck costs. To my surprise, with all the rebates, incentives, and discounts, they beat my expectations and turned me into a buyer that day. No pressure or anything, just simply couldn't resist the price tag for the exact truck I was looking for. Six weeks later I picked up my brand new, “as ordered” F-150 FX4 and I couldn't have been happier. Overall it was a great transaction and I will definitely be back for my next purchase! More
