Overall, my experience was great and the sales transaction was smooth. The sales team hooked me up with a great deal in an Outback. The things that happened via phone and email before I went to th transaction was smooth. The sales team hooked me up with a great deal in an Outback. The things that happened via phone and email before I went to the dealership were not optimal. The initial contact from the dealership was an email from what I later found out was a virtual assistant. That should be disclosed in those emails. Then I was contacted by phone by someone I later found out was working in a phone center and not the dealership. She set me up with a test drive for a car with a particular package in a specific color. When I arrived they didn’t have that car. Since she was in a call center she had no idea what was on the lot. After that the Chandler the salesperson was great. He did upsell me, but it was for slightly more than I was expecting for a car that had many more features. Skip the Internet and go directly to the dealership and work with him. Derrick is the sales manager and he was fair on my trade and was very helpful in getting me in and out the door quickly. I definitely would shop with them again. More
Since purchasing from Jim Burke, I have had my car serviced three times by Hallmark. Each time the service has been courteous and efficient. The last time they repaired a previously unsolved issue wit serviced three times by Hallmark. Each time the service has been courteous and efficient. Hallmark Subaru has always provided excellent service. They make owning a Subaru a pleasure. We had a problem that was difficult to find where the source of the of difficulties were. Once we were able to They make owning a Subaru a pleasure. We had a problem that was difficult to find where the source of the of difficulties were. Once we were able to get our 2018 Subaru Outback towed to Hallmark Subaru, they quickly determined what was causing it to have difficulty starting consistently. The service team corrected the problem, and we were back on the road promptly! We are very happy to be customers of Hallmark Subaru!!! More

Since we drove to Birmingham from Mobile, I appreciated her openness: she told me every cost I’d have to factor into the final price of the car, so that I’d be able to calculate the price myself and avoid nasty surprises. When we arrived, Martin and I went on a test drive, where he explained some features of the Crosstrek. Afterwards, he had the paperwork ready to go, and the only additional cost he tried to add was an extended warranty. When we declined the extended warranty, he didn’t argue too hard, and we agreed on the price that I had calculated. The finance manager was professional and efficient, as was the delivery specialist. All of the other salespeople at the dealership were friendly and kind, and the buying process took about 2.5 hours total. My experience here was very good, especially after experiencing Tameron Subaru in Mobile. If you’ve done your research and know how much your car should cost, Hallmark Subaru of Birmingham will honor that price. Honest, friendly, and straightforward salespeople. I recommend them! More
