Express lane for oil and Lib I was in Hall today, mind you I have been a customer since 1998, I brought my wife's 2000 Miata which she purchased new and has never been to any oth I was in Hall today, mind you I have been a customer since 1998, I brought my wife's 2000 Miata which she purchased new and has never been to any other dealership ever for an oil change. Waited for an hour and was told my car was ready but it has an engine check light on. ( the engine light was not on when I arrived there). I asked what could the problem be since it wasn't on when I arrived? They said it would cost $69.00 to check and had to make an appointment to have this done. I left the dealership and went to Autozone and they checked the code for FREE and was only the gas cap had been tampered with. Wow! So I went back to Mazda and they were not to happy with my accusations. Talked to General Manager, Mike White and he said he could not do anything. Ps I hope this isn't any inclination if what hold for my future visits there.. Things were much better when the Hall family owned it. More
I always come to Hall Mazda for Service on my RX8. Greg and his crew are always extremely friendly and no nonsense. I can't stress enough how comfortable the atmosphere at this dealership is. Sure, I can and his crew are always extremely friendly and no nonsense. I can't stress enough how comfortable the atmosphere at this dealership is. Sure, I can hunt for a mom and pop shop to get my maintenance done for a bit cheaper, but it really is the friendly, competent service at Hall that keeps me coming back. It's rare to find a service center that has such a comfortable feel to it. I don't find myself in the shop very often, yet Greg knows my name and knows my car. It's a good feeling. Plus, the coffee machine in their waiting room is really cool too haha. More

Last week the display panel had a slight malfunction. I called the service dept., in which, I received prompt courteous response to bring my car in for service. When I took my car in to be serviced the reception was courteous, thier mannerism was professional, service was performed in a timely manner and completed with a smile. I am a satisfied customer. The Service Department at this dealership has great customer relations skills! They introduced themselves when I came in with my (towed in) car, made sure I was aware of everything that was happening/g customer relations skills! They introduced themselves when I came in with my (towed in) car, made sure I was aware of everything that was happening/going to happen with my car, and immediately put me at ease (having car trouble can be so stressful, right?). They explained what they would do, arranged for me to have a rental car while mine was being diagnosed. My car arrived after 4pm yessterday... they started on it first thing today. They stayed in touch with me about the progress, the cost, and the timeframe to completion. While they had the car they also performed a "multi-point" inspection, which I understand is standard procedure, and informed me of maintenance items I needed to be aware of and that were coming up. There was no pressure or sales pitch to have the work done and they were up-front about the costs if I did choose to. Some people would suggest they were shopping for more work. I view it as good customer service; they know much more about the car than I do and see it in ways I never do. And I know first-hand that taking care of a car makes the car last much longer and with fewer problems. One suggestion was a front-end alignment. When I thought about it I realized that for some time I had noticed the car "pulling" and they saw it in the tire wear, so I said YES... on the way home, the car handled much better and they were right to let me know about it. In addition, the repair/original problem was covered under my extended warranty, and they checked and verified what was covered, the deductible, etc. and told me almost to the penny what my cost would be. All in all, I would say that my service experience at Hall Mazda was surprisingly pleasant, and I would definitely recommend them to someone looking for Mazda service. More
This most recent visit was for a follow up repair to fix a poorly executed repair by a different dealership.
