We are very sorry that you experienced such a difficult situation. Issues like this, that are out of our hands, weigh heavy on us given there is nothing we can do to help. Anytime a person takes their vehicle to a 3rd party, independent repair shop for warranty work it pains us should they reach out after the fact for reimbursement. Like other manufacturers, Hyundai requires all warranty work be performed exclusively at a franchised dealership. Per Hyundai Corporate policy, there is no way to provide reimbursement for warranty work you had completed at an independent repair shop. We do show several different communication efforts, from calls to emails, as the situation was reviewed. We did our best to advocate on your behalf with Hyundai Corporate to see if an exception could be granted. We are disappointed this could not happen. Every person that comes through our door means a great deal to us… and you are no exception. Please allow us to either take care of your warranty work in the future or at least make sure we find you an authorized Hyundai repair shop, even if you don’t use us, so you never have to go through this again.

Your poor customer service from my first phone call created this issue. Had your "Warranty Systems" been up I could have been helped prior to the repair being completed. Or had your lady who answered the phone stated oh if your thinking it could be under warranty you MUST come here. I made it clear in the "recorded call" that I was just made aware of the needed repair and even stated what it was to the lady. BUT no your poorly trained office people cost me $2300. The dealership could step in and assist even if CORP doesn't want to to assist a customer. Could save face and a customer, but instead just toss your hands up. I will ABSOLUTELY not return to your dealership for ANYTHING. Balise Hyundai in Springfield has ALL future business from myself, family and ANYONE that I speak to. Remove my phone number from your system, I do NOT want to be contacted for any type of service.... brakes, oil, ANYTHING when you are in need of filling your service bays. There is a REASON they are empty.

That is true and I appreciate that. Nevertheless, after four weeks and $3100, the problem was NOT fixed. I'll never deal with a Haddad dealership again. I tell everyone I know my story. It is telling that the negative review elicited a response in less than 24 hours and when the car was in the shop no one could call me for DAYS. Alll the service department was interested in was convincing me to buy a new car... which I did, but not from HADDAD. I kept the Santa Fe for dump runs since I can't trust it for anything else..
