A WARNING!!! No Integrity! Buyer Beware. I wish I A WARNING!!! No Integrity! Buyer Beware. I wish I checked the Better Business Bureau before I came here. They get an F from the BBB!!! Multiple comp A WARNING!!! No Integrity! Buyer Beware. I wish I checked the Better Business Bureau before I came here. They get an F from the BBB!!! Multiple complaints within they last 12 months, well add one more. I went to Guru Auto World in Easton, PA in December of 2011. At this time they were running a holiday deal of “Buy a car and receive a free HD TV or 1 yr. membership to AAA”. Well, I bought a car and they Refused to give me my TV when it was all said and done because, as they claimed, “I got a good deal”. ALSO! They will sneak in a charge for a preparation fee of $495.00 that is not disclosed at any time before your signing! This is a dealer Optional fee. Meaning, it’s not illegal, but it’s shifty depending on how the dealer handles it and how much they charge. Guru/Amy tried to get me to sign my initial contract without this as a line item. I did some math and asked where the extra $500 is coming from. Only then, did she pull out a paper with this fee as a line item. She, nor did anyone else mention this price gouging fee at any time before I would have already signed a commitment = Shady. Most dealers I have dealt with in the past charged a basic fee of $55 (this is not the notary fee, that is separate). But, $495.00!!! That is pure Greed. Then, they didn’t even make good on their TV offer. That is what you’re dealing with if you go to Guru Auto in Easton, PA. But wait! There’s more…Let me start with the fact that before I knew about the extra $500 and that they wouldn’t make good on the TV offer, I thought I got a good deal. Of course, they refused to negotiate until they ran my credit report. It was typical used car salesman tactics; intrusively prod for personal info so they can figure out how much you want the car. I’m blessed to have a good credit rating, so suddenly it was on. We agreed on the price for a nice car with some issues (hey, it’s used; I was willing to live with them). Keep in mind I agreed on this price before the undisclosed $500 and TV fiasco. I said it was a deal if they cleared the minor warning lights, proved to me the oil had been changed (which took forever and they just created a document that night saying it was done 2 months earlier), and filled the tank with gas. I left their mandatory $500 deposit to hold the car and had my wife drive me down the next day to pick up the car. I test drove it again and low and behold there was another 100 miles on the odometer! Plus, the tank was only half way filled with gas! Lies and inconsideration. Well, they had my $500 deposit and gave me attitude when I expressed my displeasure with this. At this point, my wife and kids were waiting and we wanted the car. Then, the $500 gouge fee and refusal of the TV offer fiasco happened. After about a half hour of back and forth with snotty attitude from them, I was ready to walk, but was told I’d lose my $500 (I would have just canceled the check). Well, my wife wanted the car and I just wanted Used car shopping to be over with. I had finally found a car and was done with it all. In the end, I signed and left with the car. I asked them whether they would be fine with me leaving unhappy without the TV, rather than happy with the TV and they (Amy) said “YES”. That sums up everything you need to know about Guru Auto World in Easton, PA. You can receive a good initial deal on a car, but you will have to deal with calloused integrity, lies, and worship of the Almighty Dollar. I will not go back and I do not recommend them. Next step, fill out a Better Business Bureau form and contact Consumer Watchdogs/Advocates with the local media. More
I thought we were treated excellent the first time around last year.... but, to accomplish the same experience two times in a row is noteworthy. I literally was able to walk in and out with another car. Thes last year.... but, to accomplish the same experience two times in a row is noteworthy. Well let me tell you if you like customer service, you 'll hate this place! Ravneet is very rude, uncompassionate and in the end was only out to make a buck. We went in because we saw a car for sale tha 'll hate this place! Ravneet is very rude, uncompassionate and in the end was only out to make a buck. We went in because we saw a car for sale that looked like a good car for our son who is currently deployed in Afghanistan. He has been looking for a car so when he comes home he will have one. He has been very depressed over there and his morale is quite low. It has been a hard time on us all. Anyway they knew it was for our son and the situation we were in with him not being here. They wanted us to put a deposit on the car. We wanted to give them $100.00 but they said NO we only take $500.00. So because of our son we gave her his $500.00. A couple days later my son changed his mind and I went to get his deposit back. Wow they(she) would not give it back!! She rudely told me to come back at another time to talk about it. So I left and returned later. She purposely had me sit and wait for what seemed like forever. I know she was trying to avoid this!! She wanted to know nothing, could've cared less that she was taking a deployed soldiers money for nothing!! She didn't want to hear it!! I couldn't believe she could do this to someone who is fighting for her. !! This makes me totally sick to my stomach. My son has been very depressed over there and his morale is quite low. We were hoping this car thing would up his morale but until this so called human being took advantage of his well deserved money he is now more depressed. What an awful thing someone could care more about making a buck off someone like that. She just down right said NO! Didn't give a s___!!! Very disturbing! People do not give this car dealer any money. Now we know why they wouldn't take only a $100.00. :((((((((((((((((((((( More

Where do I begin. Let's start with the phone call to confirm a car was available before I drove an hr there. "Ravneet" answered and advised the car was there and making a long story short based on my qu confirm a car was available before I drove an hr there. "Ravneet" answered and advised the car was there and making a long story short based on my questions, began to tell me how other dealers do business and that the cost of cars are based on how much the dealer pays at the auction. I thought, informative. I get all the way up there looking for this dealership with the pretty green grass. This place is an auto sales spot with about 20 cars! (The photos are taken across the street at a school). The gang that works there were trying to be professional however after an hr they started speaking in a different language which was rude. When I told them I had a bank check their eyes lit up and the dealing began. Got the car, took it to a real infiniti dealer the next business day. They informed me that my warranty (thank goodness!!!) was good for 2 more months so they could fix 2 defects. I called Guru who once again managed to knock others and advise its bc they want your business and money! The warranty covered it so i didnt have to pay. I can go on and on bottom the line is, save your time and money. You shouldnt have to cross your fingers that the manufacturers warranty covers the problems! The vehicles, the "auto sales" lot, and the service is available elsewhere! A car is an investment to you, not a paycheck for them. These people will tell you Emerald City is down the street if you ask them. GO elsewhere!!!! More
I was originally talking to Matt. I asked him some information about the 2009 Nissan Sentra and if it had warranty on the car. He told me no factory warranty just 3 months to 3,000 miles. Just because information about the 2009 Nissan Sentra and if it had warranty on the car. He told me no factory warranty just 3 months to 3,000 miles. Just because of this I was not going to make my appointment and I was going to go elsewhere. When I got there Juan waited on on since Matt called off. he was very friendly and I am glad that I went to test drive the car that I wanted. I ended up purchasing this car and it did have the factory warranty. Juan was very informative and it seemed like he knew what he was talking about. Next time someone wants to buy a car I will tell them to ask for Juan because he knows what he is doing and talking about! More
The car I drove 2hrs to see was sold a few days earlier even though I was told it was in the lot. Although Jay worked to get me the loan, he was arrogant which made me very uncomfortable with my credit sit even though I was told it was in the lot. Although Jay worked to get me the loan, he was arrogant which made me very uncomfortable with my credit situation n purchase. The car cost $4000 more than the ad price which he claimed was to cover bank fees and he was very rude to my insurance agent. The experience could've been a lot better had they been more honest n humble. I will only recommend them to someone if they were in dire need of a car n have poor credit, because at the end of the day, they got me into a car that I really like...so far. More
