The, new to the USA, 1.4T aluminum block engine is peppy, responsive and strong. The fuel efficiency of 28/40 mpg will offer great protection to my wallet when fuel prices approach $3.50/ gallon in 2018. The Wolfsburg engineers will continue to showcase excellent technology in an effort to save face and to restore consumer confidence in the VW badge. Timing is everything. One of the managers, Dave Klaus (Fixed Operations Director), provided a terrible customer service with the utmost arrogance, and showed no concern. Why give such people a director position? They seem to avoid any warranty requests, and when they do, they don’t provide a quality service and try to scam you. Their service center cannot keep up with the amount of cars so they often refuse services. Also they always seem to be out of loaner cars. At Gunther VW of Coconut Creek, you are a customer only on the first day…when you buy your car from them. VW’s require high maintenance, therefore, you will be looking for a reliable and friendly service; you won’t be able to count on them. I now have to contact VW Customer Service before I drop off my car there. After all the hard time they’ve given me, I am reporting them to FTC and BBB. More
