I purchased my f250 in 2022 at Jim Tidwell (at the time) and have always had it serviced there. The past few years their service department has become increasingly worse. In my opinion they just don’t pay attention to any detail. I have asked for my back seat to be repaired (for about 2 years) because it doesn’t lock and is a safety issue. They never fix it and tell me to bring it back or we will handle it next service like I have all the time in the world to just drop my truck off to be serviced. This is just one example. Have had numerous issues like that regarding smaller issues on the vehicle. This last episode was the last straw. I dropped it off for service, fix the seat again, (or still), fix a loose cab strap, and rattling in my moon roof, replace rear brakes (fyi I purchased the 150k bumper to bumper warranty) I was going out of town for 2 weeks and informed them of that so there was ample time to do the work. I get back and basically nothing was done except the service. It’s like they just forgot about the vehicle. Then they scramble for 2 days to get all of it done. Super inefficient. Subpar leadership. No concern for the customer. In my opinion they need improve their service process internally and train service advisors better. I could get it if this happened one or maybe even 2 times. But it’s been the same thing for the last I would guess 6-8 visits for me. I know I am only one customer and I don’t really matter to them in the whole scheme of things. However they lost 1 customer today. Wish whomever owns this dealership would read this, maybe something would change. I own my own service business and if this was how I treated my customers I would be embarrassed. More
