"We don't want to keep your business" When I looked online at Metro's pricing, with all of the discounts and incentives they have, it was in my range. Turns out those incentives apply to very few people, Despite that, I purchased a new vehicle here. 13 days later the windshield cracked from a chip that did not happen while I was in the vehicle. Brought it over, sales and service dept. shrug their shoulders and say "nothing we can do". Send an email to the GM thinking that in the interest of goodwill they would want to take care of it. He calls back and tells me I am a liar, that the car did not leave the dealership with a chip because of their ultra supersonic inspection. Denies calling me a liar, but says it wasn't like that when the car left. When I take offense, he starts double talking and then says "I don't know why you did business with us in the 1st place - calling my internet people liars". So I say your online pricing is misleading - he says that's advertising. Whatever. He says I was going to take care of your windshield, but since that's the attitude I want to have.........yada yada yada. What an incredibly arrogant and condescending individual. What smart business person argues with the customers until the customer hangs up? He doesn't even want your business... just saying. More
Outstanding sales We had been looking to trade our used Nissan Frontier. Our goal was to lease one vehicle and purchase an older vehicle. In our encounters with other dealers we were unable to make our finances work. Our budget is very tight and we spoke to 6 different auto dealers. The worst dealers were the 2 Nissan dealers in our area, they both were not trying to help us. The final stop was at Metro Kia in Johnston RI. We started to deal with Mike Doyle and he actually listened to what our needs and budget was. He had our best interest at all times, and worked to lease for us 2 new Kia Optima's. He was able to prove to us this was the better deal and made sense to what our needs and budget were. We also were working with Rui Macatrao, who was also very helpful and informative. We are so happy that we drove into Metro Kia and were able to do business with them. Mike and Rui went above and beyond our expectations. Never once did I feel like I was being swindled or pressured into anything. I went in with not the best circumstances and terribly low expectations do to my circumstances, but I walked, or drove away, unbelievably happy and pleasantly surprised with the whole experience. They went so far above and beyond to help me in my situation that it restored my faith in humanity a bit. Yes, a car dealership restored my faith in humanity. That says something. More
