Everything was great except the invoice showed 2 items under "the following work was recommended but not performed". No one mentioned or discussed those items with me. Extremely dissatisfied with my experience. I have a Kia Optima suffering from heavy oil consumption. I’m aware that this is a common problem with my vehicle based on an engine defect. There’s even a class-action lawsuit ongoing for this same scenario. Instead of checking engine I was told I need an oil consumption test that cost $500. Unfortunately, that is not covered under either warranty I have power train 10yr/100k or rod bearing 150k. I decided not to get the test done because I don’t believe that is reasonable and dealership is prolonging the problem instead of being proactive and fixing the issue. I expected to at least have a check on my engine for worn parts that could quality under power train. Instead I’m in the same spot I started at. More
My car had a recall and a rebuilt motor was installed. Since then it’s been broken down 4 times and has been in your service center, combined over numerous appts, for nearly 2 months. During that time I dealt with service advisors Carlos and Josh who were helpful and sympathetic. However, repeated requests to speak with the service manager, Gina went unanswered. Despite multiple phone calls, voice messages, text messages and request to the service advisors for her to call me, I never heard from her. Furthermore, when I confronted her in the lobby at one of my repeated visits, she denied having any knowledge of my repeated requests. Instead of trying to help the situation, she was rude and defensive. Due to the lack of communication from Greenway management, I was forced to reach out to Kia corporate for help. In the end, a tech line case was opened and engineers from Kia were ultimately brought in to diagnose the ongoing issue. If your vehicle broke down that many times and spent months in service, I would think a manager would reach out at least one time. Unfortunately this was not the case. I heard absolutely nothing from her. Moreover, no other services were offered during this extended time without my vehicle. When ask about a rental or loaner vehicle, I was told to rent my own. $1400 later, I’m working with Kia Corporate for some kind of reimbursement. I understand that your technicians had to wait for instructions from tech line, but the lack of professionalism and customer service from your “management” is inexcusable. You’re lucky to have good employees like Carlos and Josh because they were the only ones who showed a willing to help. More
