I was sold a Camry under the understanding certain things would be fixed before I would drive it away. One thing was fixed the day I came to pick it up which was the alignment. I DID NOT want the car at all would be fixed before I would drive it away. One thing was fixed the day I came to pick it up which was the alignment. I DID NOT want the car at all because of the excessive shaking and was told it was to late and was stuck with it. The same day I was going to get it drive it off the lot. Sorry, your stuck with it.YUP! The out of control shaking with the car, I was told to put it in neutral at every stop and stop light? The front end shakes very badly over 55, the transmission is starting to shift at random speeds when it is not supposed to. The front end feels ready to fall apart. Its nerve racking to drive and you just want an advil when you are done. The sales woman I dealt with was nice, but I guess could only do so much. I would of just taken my 2500 I put down and left, but they would not allow that. I try not to think about the whole deal, but everytime I get in and drive this thing it reminds me of the bad service and car I got from Greenway, and how I have only made one payment and have five years of payments on this thing and there is nothing I can do but take it. Thanks Green way Ford , for the head ache. More
My son took his 2012 Ford Mustang into this dealership for a vibration he was getting on car. He is in Orlando for college. They had the vehicle for 2 days and told him they could not figure out what wa for a vibration he was getting on car. He is in Orlando for college. They had the vehicle for 2 days and told him they could not figure out what was wrong with it and that he could come get it and that it was safe to drive. So he did and had the service guy ride with him to show him the vibration. They acknowledge that it does have a bad vibration however they need another Mustang V6 Performance package to compare it to and that they could not locate one. This is ridiculous. There are numerous Ford dealers in Orlando with V6 Mustangs but that is not even the point. Who needs a brand new car to compare to determine a solution to the problem.. Also they tried to charge him close to $300 to replace a belt that was torn when his car is under warranty. Tamiami Ford replaced that and AC compressor no charge under warranty. Anyways we had to ship his car from Orlando to Tamiami Ford in Naples where we purchased it for the needed repairs, which Tamiami Ford did complete with no problem. Tamiami Ford did step by step what Ford told them to do for the warranty and replaced multiple parts until they replaced the correct one that fixed the problem which was a bad flywheel. I would never recommend this dealer to anyone and I hope our son does not have any other needed repairs done on his Mustang while in college up there he will definitely drive a few extra miles to another Ford dealer. By the way I am an owner of this car so my complaint is valid! More
I post the negative experience I had at AutoNation Ford to put my POSITIVE experience at Greenway Ford into perspective! I went to AutoNation Ford in Sanford, FL and worked with a sales consultant named to put my POSITIVE experience at Greenway Ford into perspective! I went to AutoNation Ford in Sanford, FL and worked with a sales consultant named Esteban Ramirez. They had several Mustangs in the showroom. We started working on the specific details & I settled on a Black GT Premium with Saddle Leather & no other options. Esteban looked in his system and found an exact match to the car I wanted at a dealer in West Palm Beach. He went off to the Sales Manager's office, came back about 10 minutes later, and said "yes, we can get that car. I can have it here in 72 hours". I said, ok let's work on the numbers. After working the pricing, my final all-in total was $32,700. I said "Write up the paperwork." About 1/2 hour later, my paperwork was all signed, and I had put a $500 deposit on the car in anticipation of having it in about "3-4 business days". I said there was no rush as I had to take care of the financials with the bank anyway. 15 days later, and after my having to send no fewer than FIVE emails requesting updates, I was told they couldn’t get my car and they “had no other options for me.” (EXACT WORDS FROM EMAIL) I was basically told that they didn't want to try and do anything to earn my business. Options I would have been willing to consider were 1) waiting for another car that matched my criteria; 2)Possibly picking a different car color/option (I also liked the Race Red one I test drove); or 3) ORDERING a new car built from Ford specifically the way I wanted it configured. I called Greenway Ford to see what options they had. He talked with a man named Chris Paul, who called me and said "let me do some research and get back with you". I told him I'd come down Saturday around 10am to discuss options. I met Chris around 10:15am and he said "Great News! I think I found the exact car you're looking for. He pulled out the paperwork, and presented me with the details for THE EXACT SAME CAR (matching VIN#) that I had paperwork signed for at AutoNation. I said no, this must be a mistake - I already have this car on order at AutoNation, and they said the dealer wasn't going to release it. He said, no, his sales manager checked, and they could come get it today if they wanted. I said ok, let's talk price. Long story short, the delta between the two dealers was about $380. I had him bring me the Director of Sales Rich Roberts to look me square in the eye and tell me that this wasn't going to be a repeat of AutoNation. They promised I could have the car by this time tomorrow. I said ok, go get the car, and I'll sign the paperwork now. Sunday morning I went down to Greenway and sure enough - there was the car, complete with the Mullinax decal right on the car. VIN number matched the paperwork, and there was nothing wrong with the hood. We finalized paperwork, went through the technical specs of the car, and off I went. It took a grand total of 1 1/2 hours from the minute we walked in the door on Sunday to being on our way. I went straight to AutoNation to go get my deposit refunded. The folks at Greenway Ford have been wonderful - from Chris Paul to Rich Roberts all the way up to Lee Mitchell, the General Manager - all have been fantastic to work with! THIS is how a dealership should be. I am honestly surprised to read the negative reviews. This was not my experience at all. Very laid back, casual, friendly, low pressure, helpful, positive....I would have to say the opposite of what I've experienced at other dealerships in town. Give GREENWAY a chance, and tell them Fred sent you - you'll be glad you did! I promise! More

I recently acquired a used light truck for my business. Over the past few weeks, I have visited your parts department to purchase a few accessories for the truck, in this particular case, splash-guards, fr Over the past few weeks, I have visited your parts department to purchase a few accessories for the truck, in this particular case, splash-guards, front & rear. Leo in your parts department was particularly helpful and courteous, and it was appreciated. However, and unbeknownst to me, the splash-guards could not be installed because they were missing the hardware that would attach the guards to the truck. The problem, and I like to think I am a reasonable smart guy, I could not figure-out how to get the hardware on the truck for the front splash-guards; either did Leo or your Service Dept. -- However, the Service Dept sent me to the ‘Reconditioning Center’. As I was walking into the building a fella was walking out and asked if he could help me. I explained my dilemma and he took a look at my truck, even looking underneath the truck. He asked if I could wait for a few minutes and he would take it to the back and have one of his folks look at it. -- It wasn't my intent to have them install the guards as I had already paid a lot and wasn't interested in paying anymore… About 20-minutes later, he brought my truck around with the splash-guards installed; what a surprise. He told me that I needed to get under the truck to see how they fit, so while they were there they simple installed them, no cost… I thanked him and asked for his business card. He was your Reconditioning Director, Brian Peterson. A nice young man who obviously knows how to take care of business. I appreciate the professional courtesies extended to me by Mr. Peterson and Greenway Ford and will continue to patronize Greenway Ford for my truck needs. JR''' More
