I wrote a review previously and between now and then I thought I should share my ongoing story. I got my land rover back from their mechanic, after spending another 900 dollars, only to find out that t thought I should share my ongoing story. I got my land rover back from their mechanic, after spending another 900 dollars, only to find out that the leak that they had supposedly fixed was leaking worse then ever. The mechanic informed me that he had proof that he fixed the leak, I simply had to read my reciept. This leak was an entirely brand new and separate leak........sound crazy to anyone. I left it with him for him to fix, since the job was not completed the fixed the first time and picked up a car with even more problem, since now he messed with the cooling system. Its a shame what greenway has put me and this car through. I bought the car a month ago, put 1000 in repairs that were promised to be fixed by them before i signed the paperwork, and still have not been able to drive my new car. I refuse to let them touch the car again, being that everytime they do the car becomes more damaged. And all through this not one person from greenway has returned a phone call, answered the phone when I call them, or show any kind of care or respect in any way. My advice.....stay clear of greenway ford. More

My inital experience at this dealership was pretty good. I went in to buy a landrover i had seen online and was treated great all around untill i had offically bought and signed for the car. Aside from alot I went in to buy a landrover i had seen online and was treated great all around untill i had offically bought and signed for the car. Aside from alot of bogus fees i didnt know about before hand, the only real problem i had was the check engine light being on during my test drive. Luis my salesman assured me that it would be check out and fixed when i can in to pick up my car. I returned about 4 days later to pick it up, he informed me that the light was off and fixed and if it were to come on, just a computer thing, and that i would need to go to a landrover dealer to have the computer reset. Sounded reasonalbe, being that it wasnt a ford. I didnt drive three traffic lights from the dealer before it came on again. I was detailing the care the following day, as it was pretty dirty inside and out from them, when i moved the car back into the garage i realized what the real engine problem was.....the car had a serious oil leak. I called Luis several times over the next two day with no call back, so I showed up in person with the car. This SALESMAN took a look at my car and parking space and tryed to tell me there was no leak to be seen. I insisted that the problem needed to be solved. He had wrote a name and phone number of a mechanic on the back of a business card and told me they only have a part time mechanic and I would need to take the car to this guy the following monday. I though I was getting somewhere and getting the problem solved. When I took the car to the mechanic he charged me 150 upfront, something I never heard of,especially since I was told they were fixing this for me. The bill came to 900, and still with an oil leak. I have called the manager and Luis over and over and over, leaving message after message since they are alway "not available". The simple respect of having someone actally talk to you and want to hear your concerns as a customer is non existant here and very disappointing. The least they could have done is tell me upfront they did not car and then i could have paid the 1000 to a mechanic I trust and choose. Someone needs to teach this dealer what customer service really is, the relationship shouldnt end before the ink drys on the paperwork. Its been a totally draining and helpless situation. I still havent even been able to drive my new car but am thousands of dollars in the hole. Thanks for nothing Greenway Ford More
I just purchased my 6th vehicle from Greenway Ford and Tom Pantano. I also have all of my service work done there. I am very surprised at the reviews posted as I have not had a single bad experience at th Tom Pantano. I also have all of my service work done there. I am very surprised at the reviews posted as I have not had a single bad experience at this dealership. I guess the happy people don't take time to write. Greenway has an excellent reputation in Orlando and country wide. They have stores in several states and even in China. It is very sad that a handful of bad experiences can define a company. I will be a customer for life and I really reccomend that you try them before trusting a few bitter customers. More
had an air conditioner issue with my new explorer. It was an unusual problem, the ac would quit at strange times, when driving or when stopped . some times it would not have an issue for days, then it would an unusual problem, the ac would quit at strange times, when driving or when stopped . some times it would not have an issue for days, then it would do it every hour. Thomas Valk & Jeff Dowell stayed with it until they resolved my issue. they never gave up. I will always go to greenway. More
I bought my 1st vehicle from Greenway Ford in 2006 and it was a very good expierence. My recent purchase 11/09 has been horrible. They sold me a dealer car with over 2000 miles on it and didn't adjust the p was a very good expierence. My recent purchase 11/09 has been horrible. They sold me a dealer car with over 2000 miles on it and didn't adjust the price. Before I even took got the car which was coming from another dealership, I went in within 12 hours to cancel the deal. They had already taken my car as a trade and they told me it was gone already (on Saturday?) and I was told my "New" car was on the way already so the deal couldn't be changed. I was given a vehicle to drive until my car got there 3 days later. I was called to pick it up at 8:30 pm, so it was hard to see the paint scratches, tire damage, trunk with dirt and leaves and clay inside the gas cap area. Inside the car also smelled moldy and old. My 3 year old car still smelled new when I traded it in. I contacted Greenway Ford the next day and explained how unhappy I was with the whole deal. I was sent a letter from Alvin Davis, the Sales Manager who promised me great trade in value, great prices and 0% interest. I didn't receive any of these things. I was rushed into signing my paperwork, my car keys and car taken from me, lied to and taken advantage of. There were bogus delivery charges on my paperwork. I was charged delivery 2 times- one on sticker and one on my paperwork. I have called numerous times, I have gone in and I have written letters to Alvin Davis and the owners of Greenway Ford, but nobody has helped me with my problems. Service did take my car in and give me 2 new tires on the front (one was damaged??? new car???) and they detailed it. It smelled better for one day. I think this car was a dealer car and it had been flooded inside at some point. I can smell the mold when I am in it and it affects my allergies, sinuses and respiratory. The price should have ben adjusted and me given a chance to approve this USED vehicle, or I should have been good a NEW car, which is what I purchased and what I am being charged for. I have seen numerous other dissatisfied customers and I am willing to join together to keep this dealership from ripping people off and taking advantage of more people. The owners need to step up and look at their sales department and their selling technics and procedures. Where is the customer service and satisfaction? I will continue my crusade until someone from Greenway Ford makes my purchase correct. More
The service department charged me a $80 diagnosis fee to tell me what was wrong with the 2001 Escape. Most car dealers waive the fee if you have the service completed at the center. Greenway Ford does n tell me what was wrong with the 2001 Escape. Most car dealers waive the fee if you have the service completed at the center. Greenway Ford does not and they DO NOT tell you that before completing the approved service. I talked to Rick Ebanks, the Service Mgr and he was useless. In fact, I did not get any paperwork on the diagnosis until I had to ask what I paid for, then Rick Ebanks, the Service Mgr hand wrote an estimate. Not very professional. I asked Rick Ebanks, the Service Mgr to pull up all of my service records from 2002 until now to see how many thousands of dollars I had spend in services over the years on the Escape and Taurus I had. Its roughly $5000 and his $80 fee lost my business for life. His response was "I gotta pay my employees" Well, Rick Ebanks the Service Mgr, please change your title to Rick Ebanks, NO Service Mgr. If you want to have your Ford vehicle serviced, don't go to Greenway Ford. They use to be good, but I guess the "economy" and lack of selling cars has them desperate to nickel and dime every service customer. Buyer beware! They will take advantage. More

I have a 2000 F350 4x4 dually with 65k miles that i took to Greenway ford for a front end alignment. I called the dealer about two weeks before to get a cost estimate $59 dollars, i called about a week late to Greenway ford for a front end alignment. I called the dealer about two weeks before to get a cost estimate $59 dollars, i called about a week later to make an appointment to have the work done still $59 when i arrived at the dealer for my alignment i was told that it would be $84 because duallys have to have a special alignment which i immediately thought was xx i'll handle this when i pick the truck up. After paying for the service and reveiwing my receipt i noticed that the receipt stated "four wheel alignment at customers request" which is not a true statement so i took it to the service advisor to ask him why would they put this statement on the receipt and why would you do a four wheel alignment on a rear wheel drive vehicle he told me that he would call the mechanic and let him explain it to me after a ten minute wait no mechanic so i left totally frustrated with the whole ordeal i will never use GREENWAY FORD again for anything they have lost me and several of my coworkers for life it's the principle of the whole situation if you can't trust the dealer who can you trust.
