Preston Johnson is completely unprofessional and unhelpful. I have called multiple times throughout the past month about my license plates, with unhelpful generic answers and no response from Presto unhelpful. I have called multiple times throughout the past month about my license plates, with unhelpful generic answers and no response from Preston. Every time I would call the person who answered the phone would say they’ll redirect me to Preston and the line would be empty or that he’ll give me a call back which he never did. I am a college student and I initially wanted to register my car in my home state of Maryland, but he acted like I was inconveniencing him and complained until he convinced me to register it in NC. I wanted to ensure that I had my official tags before I went home for the summer so I kept calling them and would receive the same answer every time, with no one willing to check on the status of my plates. I had to send one of my friends to go into the dealership physically since I am now out of state, and unbeknownst to me, they told her my plates should’ve been delivered to me on April 10th. My temporary tags expire in 3 days and had I known they already sent the tags I would’ve been able to handle this while I was still in the state. They could’ve told me this information throughout the multiple times I called but they kept on telling me to wait. I called again one final time to which they connected me with an empty line AGAIN. We called back and the lady on the other end of the phone said Preston was not in his office, so we asked to speak with a manager and we were transferred to an empty line once again. Then we called again and all of a sudden Preston was back in his office and he was no help. We explained what was going on and how my temporary plates expire in 3 days and he responded saying I can drive on expired plates and won’t be arrested, then asked why I didn’t just “pull up” to the dealership as if I hadn’t been calling left and right to sort this out. Something needs to be done about this level of unprofessionalism , incompetence and reluctancy to help out customers. This could’ve been resolved weeks ago had I been taken seriously whenever I called , and I would not have to risk driving on expired plates. More
My husband and I had a great experience with Greensboro Honda! Our salesman was Santosh. Santosh did a great job.
