I chose Great Lakes Honda of Fishers because of their positive reviews. I was going through a divorce and, having never purchased a vehicle on my own before, I was looking for a dealership I could trust. positive reviews. I was going through a divorce and, having never purchased a vehicle on my own before, I was looking for a dealership I could trust. Unfortunately, my experience was the opposite. From the start, I felt rushed through the process and did not feel I had the opportunity to fully ask questions about the vehicle or the purchase. I was repeatedly pressured into purchasing extended warranty coverage, even after saying no multiple times and explaining I was already over budget. I ultimately agreed to one of the warranties despite my hesitation. After the purchase, the situation became much worse. I attempted to register the vehicle and was told the title was not available. Over the next 50+ days, I received multiple conflicting explanations from the dealership: • I was told they had not received the title for my trade-in • Then told the title was being processed and would take about 10 days • Then told there was a signature issue requiring additional paperwork • Finally, after repeated unreturned calls and messages, I was told the dealership did not even have the title to the vehicle they sold me, as they were still waiting on it from an auction Throughout this process, communication was extremely poor. Calls were not returned, promised follow-ups did not happen, and I had to repeatedly initiate contact to get any updates. I was also not issued a temporary plate at the time of sale and was instructed to transfer the plate from my trade-in vehicle, which raised additional concerns. During this time, I was also dealing with a serious medical situation involving my child, which made the lack of communication and ongoing uncertainty even more stressful. It ultimately took over 50 days for the title to be completed—well beyond the expected timeframe. This experience was frustrating, stressful, and completely eroded my trust in the dealership. I would strongly encourage anyone considering purchasing here to ask detailed questions and ensure all documentation is in order before completing a sale. Based on my experience, I would NOT recommend Great Lakes Honda of Fishers. More
