He continued to brag how he works for "Johnny K's " which i thought was horrible publicity. Whoever you are sir, I'll tell you, I'd never go to Johnny K's knowing you're employed there. We recently purchased our Honda Odyssey from Great Lakes Honda and had an outstanding experience working with Pete. From start to finish, Pete was knowledgeable, transparent, and incredibly easy to work with. Buying a vehicle can be stressful, but Pete made the entire process feel comfortable and enjoyable. He answered every question, never made us feel pressured, and genuinely seemed invested in helping us find the right fit for our family. What stood out most was his personality. Pete was professional, but also fun, personable, and the kind of salesperson you actually enjoy spending several hours with while making a major purchase. By the end of the process, it felt like we were buying a van from a friend. The only downside? He wouldn’t let me use his purple pen. If you’re looking for a dealership that treats customers well and a salesperson who makes the experience enjoyable, ask for Pete. We’d happily work with him again. More

The professionalism and dedication of both the General Manager and the sales team made the entire car-buying process comfortable and stress-free. Their commitment to customer satisfaction is evident, and it's one of the main reasons I continue to return for my vehicle purchases. While I have been servicing our Honda's here for several years, they now use AI to communicate thus I lacked of ability to ask questions, even by calling listed number. I wish I could rate this dealership 10 stars! I went in because I got a letter from Kelly Coffman, the GM, to trade in my current vehicle for an upgrade. It was such a great deal that I came in to ask about it. Kelly took her time to answer all of my questions! She was even able to find some loyalty cash from Honda to help me further. My salesman, Pete Tobias is amazingly knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and understand all of the bells and whistles on your new car! This is the 7th Honda that I have bought from Pete and he continues to make me feel valued every time I walk into the dealership. Getting my brand new CRV Hybrid was a no brainer, it's beautiful and the deal was incredible!! Recently, I sent a friend in to see Kelly because his son was in the market for a car. He couldn't stop telling me what a positive and low pressure experience it was! I will continue to go to Great Lakes Honda West and send my friends there! You will always be treated like family!!!! If I could give this business zero stars out of five I would. I bought a used Acura Integra from this dealership earlier this year. Upon getting the car home there was all sorts of cosmetic damage on the would. I bought a used Acura Integra from this dealership earlier this year. Upon getting the car home there was all sorts of cosmetic damage on the car that I did not notice when I went to originally look at it. During the sale process I questioned the damages reported to the Carfax report and was told by my saleperson these were all fixed by the dealership. This was clearly not the case. I had 2 other local dealerships look at the car and there was covers and other missing items under the hood that I did not notice before purchase as well. On top of all this I was informed by my local dealership that great lakes had sold the car to me without an original OEM key fob. They sold it to me with an aftermarket fob that did not have all the functions of the OEM fob. I was coming from driving a much older vehicle and this was the first time for myself using a key fob. I did not know to even check for this. I have tried numerous times to make contact with management at this dealership but no one from their management team has bothered to return any of my emails or phone calls. Absolutely despicable customer service and the fact they sold a used vehicle without a real key for the vehicle and without disclosing that information to me is absolutely atrocious. I would warn anyone considering doing business with this dealership to absolutely stay away and take your business somewhere else. There are plenty of other dealerships out there. I would not trust the Great Lakes West dealership to tighten any bolt on my vehicle. More
I had a mixed experience at this dealership. My salesperson Elie was absolutely wonderful, he was professional, attentive, and the reason I purchased the car. However, my experience in the finance office gave me pause. I had a signed out-the-door price from the manager, which I photographed. When I got to the finance office the purchase agreement presented was approximately $3,500 higher than the agreed price. When I pointed this out and showed my documentation, new paperwork was created and the correct price was honored, which I appreciated. During the finance process, GAP coverage and a warranty were presented in a way that implied they were being offered by the bank at no cost to me. When I questioned the higher price, I was informed I would need to pay for these products separately. After declining several times I was advised to look up whether I needed them on a ChatGPT. Management was receptive to my feedback and responded professionally. Just make sure you have your out-the-door price in writing and review all documents carefully before signing. Overall, ask for Eli, and know your numbers going in. More

(Stock # W26111A.Honda Civic Sedan Touring) Then the General Manager Kelly Coffmann who has nothing better to do and no Dealership experiance in management but Deny customers what they wanna buy she blocked my purchase every chance she got. Shes outright abusive, rude not Customer centric and spent 2 days chasing me and everyone at the Dealer blocking my purchase.Even Joey Huang the owner knows nothing about the business but greed. I talked to Kelly Coffman on the phone and she was abusive, rude, hostile and promised she would not let me but this car cuz Im out of state! Mike Loy the used car manager and Brandon the Finance manager wanted to sell me this car but Kelly Coffman had nothing better to do but chase everyone all day and interfere with my Car Business and its people like her that gives her Dealer and the rest the Negative stereotype of Car shopping. Mike the Used car manager called me to get my Credit Card info for a $500.00 deposit which I did including account number, exp date, and security code and again Kelly Coffman Blocked my purchase but now they have all my Credit Card info which should have been destroyed for my security. Not 15 minutes after I gave Mike my ok for a deposit he called me and said Kelly AGAIN Blocked the purchase of this car. A true, honest trustworthy and caring Public Business would have and should have done everything possible to make this sale happen and discuss a resolution so both parties were indeed satisfied and its commonly referred to as Humanity and Integrity which Kelly Coffman and Joey Huang have absolutely no knowledge of. Iv never seen Behavior like this in all my years of being at Dealerships. Most importantly I told Brandon in finance and MIke Loy I couldnt make the 5 hour drive round trip and would have a carrier pick it up thats when Brandon the Finance manager said we will just do a E-Sign no problem he said. Calls are recorded or should be. I had no one to drive me there. All Dealers sell New and Used Cars to out of state customers and actually Deliver it to them and I know this for a fact as Iv had a "A" Dealer bring me a car all the way from MIssouri but lets face it when you have a General Manager like Kelly Coffman who is so bent on Control its actually pathetic and shows signs of internal weakness. Im a Veteran and Senior Citizen and entitled to be treated with Respect and Dignity. I can tell you first hand you will not get that at this Dealership!! To all VETERANS AND SENIOR CITIZENS and anyone who reads this BOYCOTT GREAT LAKES HONDA WEST and all their sister stores as they will abuse you and your rights and literally drag you thru the worst experiance you have ever had and then stab you in the Back and outright label you as a Fraudster and defame your character for trying to do business with them! Do not do any Business with this Dealer do not buy or service your car here either! Most Importantly I needed Honda Financing to buy the Car and they Denied me the opportunity to Apply to purchase the car and I have excellent credit and Score!! And the GM Kelly told me I needed to Wire the full amount if I wanted this car, can you believe this they wouldnt let me finance this car. This Review will be updated as needed. More
