Brought my 2010 Prius to check on a brake issue recall. I been reading a lot of noise online about a class action lawsuit involving 2010-2013 Prius's for brake booster problems and safety issues, that's what been reading a lot of noise online about a class action lawsuit involving 2010-2013 Prius's for brake booster problems and safety issues, that's what prompted me to take it in, mainly because of the safety issues. Got a call from Service advisor that it was not under any recalls, and said it would be $1,800 to fix the buzzing noise. I declined the repair, because other than the buzzing noise everything worked as it should, and I wanted to wait to here what the verdict was on the class action law suit. The Law Suit was filed April 3 2020 in US District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. My wife's Prius V has makes the same noise for the last 4 years, with no brake, ABS, or Traction Control lights on. My Landcruiser makes the same buzzing noise also, and has for the last 5 years, and no lights on the dash. When I brought my Prius in for the brake issue there were no lights on the dash, when I picked it up the ABS, Traction Control, and brake lights were on. Ask to speak to the Service Manager. The Service Manager had already had a 20 minute meeting with the Technician that was assigned to my Prius, before I walked in his office. It was pretty oblivious they had already made their mind up that they were going to stand their ground and do nothing about the lights being on. It is my opinion that they left the lights on so they could pressure me in to spending the $1,800. I have been going to this Dealer for more than 20 years, and was treated very good, even though there has been numerous Service Manager changes in the last several years. Since the new owners took over this Dealership, it has prompted me to seek another Dealer for my service work, and to refer my friends also. I'll give this new Service Manager about six months, if he makes it that long. More
I was very dissatisfied with technician that pulled my car out and around to bay for pickup. Not only did he gas it so hard once he did it twice. We just had a traumatizing experience. Keith Sistrunk and Debbie Sherman were terribly unprofessional. Debbie Sherman took 5 hours to put my daughters information into the system on August 7th 2021. Come to find out, Debbie entered the information incorrectly and did not get a proof of residence from my daughter. My daughter drove around for almost 30 days in a vehicle that had never really been finalized. They claim they had been calling and texting. When they checked the information , it was not my daughter's number. My daughter woke this morning with a 2 yr old and a 1 yr old getting ready to take them to day care and no vehicle. We put 5000 dollars down on August the 7th on a truck that costed 13000 dollars and This is September 3rd. They took the truck in the middle of the night like she missed a payment when she has yet to receive any paperwork from them because nothing had been finalized. My daughter went to them in the middle of August because we had not received anything from them and they informed her that it could be up to 45 days before the finance company finished the paperwork. We are both traumatized about the whole experience. I was yelled at by Keith Sistrunk because he feels like my daughter should have answered a call that she never received. I feel like someone should talk to Ms Debbie Sherman about the importance of inputting the correct information into the system. We are Blessed to be able to get our money back and continue our search for a vehicle but this experience will stay with us. More
