The price was right, I felt like I got what I expected for my trade and then when I decided to complete the deal all the pieces fell into place without a single thought wondering if I did the right thing. I would definitely return to buy another car from John and Grappone in the future. I am intrigued by the maintenance plan I bought into. I have been a Grappone customer for 20 yrs. I came into Grappone Ford to have the alignment and tires checked on my 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe and thought I would test drive an Escape while I waited. Ruth is an exceptional saleswoman. No pressure, no hassle, just lot's of great answers to my questions. She really knows her Fords. It wasn't long before I was sold on the dealership as well as the car. My whole experience was positive. I had contacted Ashley via the internet last spring when I was looking into trading in my Santa Fe. She returned my calls, answered my e-mails and was very knowledgeable. I was a first time new car buyer and interviewed several I was a first time new car buyer and interviewed several dealers to determine with whom I wanted to establish a relationship. I quickly eliminated I was a first time new car buyer and interviewed several dealers to determine with whom I wanted to establish a relationship. I quickly eliminated some based on an overall reaction to an unpleasant experience in interaacting with their people. I did not respond well to high pressure tactics, lack of product knowledge or ambivalence in one case. I am not an impulse buyer but view myself rather as an educated consumer who wants courteous interaction, accurate facts and a projection that I will be a valued customer with a long relationship. Price is of course a sensitive component but not the sole determining factor. Graponne FORD provided a welcome buying atmosphere as soon as I entered the showroom. Ruth was courteous, polite, and attentive to my inquiries and did not display any sales pressure to close a "deal" on the spot. She was extremely willing to gather information as my questions developed. I left with an initial price proposal and she followed up later in a timely fashion, but not over bearing. Later we negotiated a trade-in price of my present vehicle to determine a final purchase cost. Even though they were not the lowest price overall, I made the decision to allow Graponne to sell me my new Explorer XLT. I would rate Ruth and Graponne as providing a very good buying enviornment to purchase vehicles. More
