This rating is not for the dealership but for Subaru itself. I brought my 2019 Outback into Granite State because it had a parasitic draw on the battery which Subaru knows about and there is actually a itself. I brought my 2019 Outback into Granite State because it had a parasitic draw on the battery which Subaru knows about and there is actually a class action suit against them for this issue. I looked on the computer about this issue on Subaru forum sites and this issue is very well known and most people on the site said take it to a dealer and they will blame the battery and that's exactly what Granite State did per Subarus guidelines. It's a three-year replacement battery seven months old I took it to where I bought it they checked it and it was above the specs of what the battery was rated for. Granite State after testing my battery with their equipment said it was no good and they wanted to sell me a battery for $380 to be able to continue the parasitic draw test. Explained this to the Service rep that it was just tested and it is a good battery but he said there was nothing he could do they were bound by Subarus guidelines and their equipment said it was no good and unless I spend the $380 for one of their batteries there was nothing more that they could do. I told him I found this unacceptable. Again this reading is not against Granite State Subaru they were only following Subarus guidelines for this issue that they know about and could fix. So this rating is against Subaru its self. More

The service center - I have no complaints. Everything I asked for was completed in less time than expected. Very satisfied. Two (very) minor complaints: 1) a couple of months ago I got a call from the sales department. I was asked if I would like an in person tutorial on the various features of the car - at the time I said no because I was getting to know the car on my own and also had received a good walk through by my salesman. But, as I explained, there is always something worth learning but wanted to hold off doing so until I came in for the car’s first service appointment. Well, anyway, when I knew I was coming in, I called and asked to schedule on the day the car was being serviced. Never got an answer back. 2). At the completion of the service appointment - I went to pick up my keys and pay for a wind deflector and install fee, no problem, I expected that. What I didn’t expect was to be billed for was cars’ first oil change. Sorry, I’ve had new cars and within the warranty period I’ve never paid for an oil change. I do understand synthetic is usually changed at 10K miles and my car was a little under 5K on the day of service. The car was in because of a recall notice. Well, it’s probably my fault for asking for the oil change but it would have been nice to have been reminded about how often the oil should be changed and had the opportunity to reconsider my request. BUT, it does bring up a question: is maintenance including oil change included within the 36 month warranty period? More

I have always received outstanding service from Granite Subaru. I recently had a scheduled oil change service and received the complimentary car wash but was delighted to discover that they went the extra Subaru.
