SUBARU DEALERSHIP BREAKS CARDINAL RULE We had a wonderful agreement, a deal, and an invoice with Granite Subaru for a new 2026 Subaru Solterra XT Limited. By all accounts it was an established exce wonderful agreement, a deal, and an invoice with Granite Subaru for a new 2026 Subaru Solterra XT Limited. By all accounts it was an established excellent deal, even agreeing to a deposit. When Granite Subaru learned that the car was damaged in transport, they abandoned the deal, renigged on the invoice and told us the the only way to get the car now was to custom order one and that it would take 3 to 6 months. They claimed there were no more of these cars in any of the 6 colors anywhere in New England. We were agreeable to the custom order do for some very important reasons including Subaru's safety record and reputation. When we concurred we did so under the same terms and financing. Subaru said just flat NO. To purchase the car now we would have to pay full MSRP Price or not get the car. Granite Subaru pulled the entire deal and invoice right out from under us. They broke a Cardinal rule, In New England, a deal is a deal when it is agreed upon. This situation is NOT beyond repair, honor the deal and we are a lifelong customer More

Granite Subaru was quick, thorough, reasonably priced, friendly. Above all they really cared. Today I went to another dealer with another brand. They did not care. They tried to charge me three times the normal rate. I won't go back there. Once a corporation owns the dealership, you know they will try to charge all they can. Our previous service was a big one, well over $1,000. Today we went in for an oil change and tire rotation. Not only did that go up $30 from our last oil change and rotation, but we were presented with Today we went in for an oil change and tire rotation. Not only did that go up $30 from our last oil change and rotation, but we were presented with a pretty hard sell for another group of services that totaled well over $2,000. Some of these were presented as "new" recommendations by Subaru. I'm not able to spend over $1,000 every 6 months or so for "recommended" services. I take good care of our vehicles, but I'm starting to feel some of these are just money grabs. That being said, out service advisor was very nice and when we said "no" to the extra things after his explanations, he did not push it. The facility is also comfortable. More
