Thank you for taking the time to share this, and I am sorry the experience left you frustrated. An ongoing oil consumption concern that requires multiple visits, multiple tests, and several related repairs is genuinely difficult to live with, and I understand why the back and forth wore on you. Oil consumption is measured against Subaru's published thresholds, which is why the testing was repeated and why related components were addressed along the way, but I know that a result within specification is cold comfort when the car is still using more oil than you expect. I also want to acknowledge the conversation with our technician. Honesty matters to us, and so does leaving a customer feeling supported. If you left feeling shrugged off, that is not the standard we hold ourselves to. I would like to review your full service history personally and make sure nothing was missed on the testing or the repairs.
