I really don’t know what to say. I rated granite Subaru highly because my other experience was the “dealer alternative” which apparently became part of a national corporation. I brought my outback in still under extended warranty when it suddenly started using a lot of oil. They had the auto from almost 2 months and changed just about every gasket as they said there was a leak. Fortunately, they gave me a loaner. When I got it back, the TPS system failed and it needed to be repaired/replaced. The oil consumption continued.to get worse and I brought it back in and the PVC valve was changed and consumption test performed. Apparently I was told it was right at the top. I had my doubt since the PVC was changed within not too long before.Of course it started consuming oil even more quickly. Another consumption test was performed, and I was told that it was within Subaru specifications. I discussed this with the mechanic. He told me that Subaru are known to consume oil. When we discussed several other issues that I had had, he noted that indeed they also go through tires and batteries fairly frequently. When I mentioned that he didn’t seem to be selling me on Subaru he just shrugged. Very disappointing. I suppose I should give a higher rating given his honesty but overall not impressed with the brand. More

Jennifer was friendly, professional and got the job done. Granite Subaru is where we have purchased our last two vehicles because their service department is the best in our region in New England. I had an unexpected funeral the morning I dropped off the car and Jennifer called an Uber to drive me home to ensure I made it to the church on time. We have never had any issues with the work done by their service techs. I highly recommend Granite when in the market for a Subaru or if you need great Subaru service. More

Came in for an oil change and upon inspection found front brakes badly in need of replacing. Front brakes were supposed to be done on last visit 6 months ago but they did the rear instead which had just been brakes badly in need of replacing. Front brakes were supposed to be done on last visit 6 months ago but they did the rear instead which had just been done 6 months previously at different location. Correct Brake job done at no charge but they were unwilling to provide lifetime warranty that is offered. Came in 3 days later for front control arm bushings repair and service person did not know what I was there for (thought just an alignment) then was confusing front and back when I told him what needed to be done. When I booked the appointment I did it by phone and was very specific about what work needed to be done. It seems the computer system they are using to record services done and needed is poor. Not user friendly apparently. While service staff were friendly I am very unhappy that an incorrect brake job was performed. The mechanic should have recognized a newer brake job not in need of replacing. I am also unhappy with the poor communication and recording of work that was done and what is needed. More
