We had a very good experience at Goldstein. We got the car we wanted. Every question that we had was answered. We were there twice and they did not pressure us to buy at that time, which allowed us to t car we wanted. Every question that we had was answered. We were there twice and they did not pressure us to buy at that time, which allowed us to take our time comparing other vehicles at other dealerships. When we did come back with the information we had collected from other dealerships, Goldstein was willing to work a deal to our liking so we could move forward to make the purchase. We were happy to buy the car from them and very happy with our new Jeep. More
07 dodge Nitro ,For one the Vehicle is way over priced Cargurus even stated it was $2,780 over priced, so I offered an amount, and another dealers price on the same vehicle that was over $3,000 less than Cargurus even stated it was $2,780 over priced, so I offered an amount, and another dealers price on the same vehicle that was over $3,000 less than there price. I was told well ours is at wholesale price ( wholesale yeah more like your own sale). and that even though the other dealer had theres for $10,500 the best they could do was take $300 off, off of what your price or the other dealers price??? the stated well theres is a SLT and mine is a SXT with 10,000 less miles, and I mine has 3rd row. and has never been in an accident. Well for your own info the SLT is a better option package than the SXT, and they do not have a 3rd row option in the Nitro's so know your vehicles before you speak. so another dealer I will not recommend to deal with. expecially at wholesale price oh and the wonderful you may want to come look at it while it's still here, lol it's been posted at the same price for 66 days on cargurus really people the internet tells all no hiding nothing. The Goldstein dealership will sweet talk you in anyway to get the sale but when it's time for service, forget it. I bought a Wrangler back in May and waited while they inspected the vehicle for me to drive get the sale but when it's time for service, forget it. I bought a Wrangler back in May and waited while they inspected the vehicle for me to drive away with. An hour later I see the salesman finally expecting the keys to be presented. No luck. He told me they weren't able to pass the inspection because the sensors hadn't "come up" yet. I see him walk over and take my plates off then put the dealer plates back on. He tells me to drive it around for a few days and come back. I returned two days later and I'm told it will be about 20 minutes.....two and a half hours later they hand me the keys and tell me to take it for a nice ride for about a hundred miles and return to have it inspected. Sorry, I work and don't have the time to joyride and wait there for another 2 hours. I returned for a third time for another two hours and they tell me it passed inspection. When I arrived I had half tank of gas, when I left I was on empty. One week later I had to return it for a tear in the soft top and because the vehicle jumps out of gear. They call a day later and say it jumps out of gear because of the shifter boot. Sure it does. I leave the dealership only to have the check engine light glowing in my face for a day then went off. And it jumped out of gear once again. I returned it to the dealer on Thursday evening for an appointment on Friday. I hadn't heard anything from the service department so I called around 530 pm only for them to inform me they hadn't even looked at it yet. Thanks for the courtesy call. Saturday around the same time I called once again only to have them tell me the same thing. Two whole days my vehicle sat in the same spot and they couldn't even give me the courtesy of a call letting me know so I can make arrangements. Problem still unsolved. I despise this dealership as a whole and will never ever do business with them again. NEVER. I called to speak with Mr. Hands-on Goldstein only to have my call returned by the obnoxious service attendant telling Mr Goldstein does not accept calls from customers. Not on is this dealership terrible, their owner is as disconnected as his employees. More
In Feb 2011 We went to this dealship to look at buying a new Caravan since our family recently outgrew to Murano we were driving. When we got there Paul had us filling out financial paperwork before we eve new Caravan since our family recently outgrew to Murano we were driving. When we got there Paul had us filling out financial paperwork before we even looked at cars and that took him a couple of hours! Finally I got tired of waiting since we now lost daylight and it was 14 degrees outside, so I went out in the dark looking at the vans. We should have left right then but they were the only dealership with a large selection of vans! I found a van in the dark and decided to buy it, none had the dvd system in so we asked if they would install one, Paul said they couldn't install an overhead one it had to come from the factory like that so we agreed on installing them in the back of the headrest. We were promised the parts would be in, in a week so a week and a half later I called inquiring about it and Paul had no idea who I was!! BAD salesman!! When I finally got the van in to have the dvds installed after 3 days Paul called and said they cuoldn't do the headrest because of the airbags in the side panels and that they could install the overhead one like we originally wanted but it would now cost us 1000.00 out of pocket. After being realy upset that he didn't doulble check and know his cars Paul said they would take off 300.00 for the inconvience so we agreed. When I went to turn the van in to have the work done again they offered me a little car to drive while the work was being done. The car didn't fit my family so I asked for a bigger car they said thats all they had, when I stated that when we were shopping for cars before we were offered a car off the lot to drive while I left my car there, the dealership laughed in my face and said we don't let people borrow our cars even though I just bought a brand new car from them 2 weeks earlier!!! I was enraged and told them the rental didn't fit my family and they needed to find me a car equal to what I have, after listening to the group of men mock me and waiting over an hour I finally recieved a SUV, I went home in tears! I have never been treated so badly at a dealership before!! We went to go pick up our van and pay for it but the 300.00 discount wasn't on there and of course PAUL had no idea what we were talking about!!! Icing on the cake! I HATE GOLDSTEIN AND WILL NEVER SEND ANYONE TO THIS DEALER!!! We are a military family and know lots of people looking for new cars! Even though I love the Van I have a bitter-sweet feeling about and can't wait to trade it off so I can start new. Thanks again PAUL WADE for ruining my new car experience!!! More
I dealt with my salesman over the phone to purchase a new Town and Country. I showed up at the dealership at the agreed upon time to pick up my car and everything was exactly as described. The price quoted Town and Country. I showed up at the dealership at the agreed upon time to pick up my car and everything was exactly as described. The price quoted was what was charged - to the penny. The vehicle was exactly as described. I met the owner of the company and he was polite and respectful. The salesman told me that the owner was a hands on owner and if I ever had any problems with the dealership to elevate to the owner. More
Like a breath of fresh air compared to the "other dealership." Clean, nice smelling showroom. Immediate attention I walked in and was greeted by someone who asked me if I needed help with anything. dealership." Clean, nice smelling showroom. Immediate attention I walked in and was greeted by someone who asked me if I needed help with anything. Everyone I saw was so friendly I didn't feel like I was in the way like I did at the "other dealership." Don't let the "other dealerships" reviews fool you I think they are either submitted by the employees or in front of the sales people at the dealership right after they make their purchase. I think most of us know people want to write reviews when they are angry. I wrote one for the "other dealership" and decided to write on for Goldstein. I don't feel they're getting a fair shake probably because they aren't hounding their customer's to write reviews on their behalf. Goldstein is great very patient and determined to get the price as close to your expectation as possible. Goldstein is in the business of selling cars not seeing how many ways they can screw people over and keep them as potential buyer's. They even have popcorn, hotdogs, donuts, coffee, hot chocolate and tea in their waiting area. I also loved that they had a play area for my two small sons to keep busy while we waited for service to be completed. Very family oriented and professional. Completely unlike the chaos of their competition. I Will definately consider them first next time and will definately send potential buyer's their way. More
I returned to this dealership for a promised "free" car wash 2 weeks after purchase. The service representative happily took my keys and disappeared. After waiting an hour and 15 min., I went e "free" car wash 2 weeks after purchase. The service representative happily took my keys and disappeared. After waiting an hour and 15 min., I went exploring and found my dirty car exactly wehere I parked it. After further investigation, I found the car wash attendant who was apparently unaware of my existance. Eventually, I was able to retrieve my keys. I left with no "service" completed; never to return. More
Called the dealer to get some pricing an info on the phone, waited on hold for 15 minutes and nothing. Called back, waited for 10 minutes then drove there. Sales people were rude and had no knowledge phone, waited on hold for 15 minutes and nothing. Called back, waited for 10 minutes then drove there. Sales people were rude and had no knowledge of their products. Had to walk up to a sales person in order for them to help me out. Attempted to make an order for a new Jeep but the sales guys was so rude and didn't want to let me add what I wanted. He was so dead set on buying from their inventory but it wasn't what I wanted. Spoke with others about their service and apparently its worse than their sales team. Ended up speaking to Armory Garage and Langan Jeep. Both were wonderful but I ended up at Langan because they had the best price, hands down. More
I don’t know about buying a car, but I can tell you about the service. In one word “TERRIBLE”. Was never treated so bad before in any dealership. Would not recommend this dealership to anyone. the service. In one word “TERRIBLE”. Was never treated so bad before in any dealership. Would not recommend this dealership to anyone. More
i was visiting my family in NY and went into the dealership to drive a Town and Country. My husband had been offered a good deal on one "back home" and I needed to approve. I was very upfront with M dealership to drive a Town and Country. My husband had been offered a good deal on one "back home" and I needed to approve. I was very upfront with Mike Davey and told him that I wouldn't be buying a vehicle from his dealership and definitely not that day since I lived way out of state. Despite this knowledge, Mike spent just as much time showing me the features and going through "the shpeal" as if I were any other customer. if I didn't dislike the van so much, I would have considered buying one from him and driving it across the country!
