Hello Brian Connor, We are sorry you were not happy with your recent service on the 2012 Grand Cherokee. We did test the functionality of the key fob before you left. Unfortunately the trailer wiring and hitch were not factory components and were installed by an outside vendor. Although our technician checked the wiring of the harness you should go to the outside vendor to see if they can correct the issue. As for your Key and Fob, when you made us aware that it was not operating as you desired we did offer you to bring the vehicle back in , but you said you would do that when you had a chance. Please let us know if you need further assistance
