It would be an understatement to say that this has been the worst car buying experience I’ve ever had. I have been a Jeep owner for years and recently came back on the market due to a car accident. I contacted this dealership on July 8th, 2021 and started working with Daniel Ballenger who helped me place an order for a new Jeep Wrangler on July 12th. After placing my order and deposit, I never heard back from Daniel. I continued to call to check on the status of my Jeep, but Daniel claimed that the Jeep system was down, so the order of my Jeep was not actually placed until July 22nd. I was advised that a new Jeep takes 6 weeks to build, so delivery would be around the end of August, beginning of September. I continued to follow up with Daniel to check on the status as I am traveling to Kentucky from North Carolina. On August 23rd I called to check on the status of my Jeep delivery and was told that my jeep was on a truck and “HOT TAGGED” for delivery to the dealership on August 25-26th and that I was safe to book a flight to pick up my vehicle. On the morning of August 26th, 2 hours before my flight from NC to KY, I received a text from Nick Craig stating that Daniel was no longer employed with the dealership and that my order had been delayed. Since this information was received last minute, I was not able to get my flight & hotel refunded, so Nick Craig said he would handle it if I sent him my receipts. On September 2nd my Jeep was ordered for a second time. The communication has left much to be desired. No one has EVER reached out to me to give me an update. I have called and left messages for both the GM and the Vice President, Nathan Stahl, but no one has ever called me back. Since none of my phone calls have been returned, I have gone as far as sending an email with my information and timeline to Nathan Stahl, but that too has gone ignored. It is now October and I still have no idea when my car will be ready. This has been the most unprofessional and unpleasant car buying experience I have ever had. Used car salesman gets bad name yet AGAIN!!!! This is for the Craig & Landreth Crestwood, KY Jeep, Chrysler... My wife & I went out there 3 times & wait until y'all here this!!!.. I'm a family man, father of 3 w/ a great hard working wife!!.... Chad, the "salesman" acted like he was our Best Friend... He offers me a soda each time to me, said ALL the right things & seemed like a Very Nice Guy!!... We went on 2 test drives & spent a lot of time w/ him... We had some credit issues & when we zeroed in on a car late Saturday he said he'd run it for financing & get right back w/ us first thing Monday!!.. We felt great but then Monday came & went..... Nothing..... Crickets..... Then we called their finance manager; Connie, who was quite nasty like she hated her job & didn't want to be there!!... Finally we found out we were approved to put $3000 down..., then we received many many letters of creditors reviling that they had "shotgunned" out my wife's credit app to many, many lenders... Stacking up a ton of inquiry's on her already marginal credit profile... Tanking her score down over 30 points!!!!!..., But this is what REALLY pissed us off; We received a "counter offer" from Commonwealth Credit Union... In a nutshell the car we applied for was approved & we were told it was approved only if we could put $3000 down so we pulled back.... Came to find out, only because we called the credit union.,, this dealership was trying to stick it to us... Gouging us for the $3000 above market/fair price!!!! These crooked people were trying to sell us a car for 115% of fair market value!!!!! ... We all know there's a Great reason why used car salesman have such a deplorable reputation????!!!! Thanks for nothing Chad & Connie!!... Hope y'all sleep tight tonight knowing you tried to screw this family over!!! More
