The person who has been contacting me for weeks, George, just sounds shady over the phone. He does not hear what you are saying, what your concerns are, he just wants to get you into the dealer so he can st just sounds shady over the phone. I told them my current predicament, and why it was not feasible for me to get an electric car that runs only 70-80 miles while I am displaced from home temporarily, due to emergency renovations for extreme weather, and they said “there are charging stations everywhere, you could plan out your trip home and to work”; he did not hear/see me as a person. Why would I want to take on the stress of a car that does not make sense for my temporary situation? Why would I want to add more to my routine when I am temporarily going through a hardship? I get paid grants in a few weeks, so I figured I’ll wait until I’m in a better spot, and I politely declined viewing the car, but that did not matter, they kept attacking, like sharks; after I opted out of communication, they still kept bothering me! Told me everything I wanted to hear: “don’t worry about a down payment, don’t worry about insurance, don’t worry about not getting qualified, we have specials going on, almost 99% of people get qualified,” but of course all of these fantasies are just bogus phrases of sweet talk to get you in the door. I found the same car at a dealer 40 miles away, with a third of the mileage. They asked me to pull it up on my phone so they could look at it; xxx? They then took my phone, acting like COVID is not a thing right now, putting their hands and fingers all over my phone; I don’t know where their hands have been. They then said the less used car at the other dealer probably has frame damage, it probably is a lemon, it’s probably too good to be true, but they expected me to pay that same exact price for the same vehicle with an additional 90k in mileage on it? George’s superior then got all pouty, dismissed himself, and told him to give me his business card without even having the courtesy to look me in the eye, say goodbye, give a better offer, or simply say sorry that we could not close a deal. How disrespectful and unprofessional. I felt like I was buying drugs and a crime boss told his underling to get me out of their face because I wanted a better deal. It felt like a bad dealership in a movie, I am not exaggerating. They. Do. Not. Care. About. You. They also tried to put me in a 2017 with 100k miles on it, which is a worst offer than the 2011 I looked at with 120k on it. Again, these people could not give one xxxx about me, only the sale. More
Went to Glendale Nissan today to consider purchasing an advertised Rogue. The price was actually thousands of dollars higher than advertised because they stated there was "dealer options" on the car. So the salesman brings someone else over that is able to negotiate the best deal. After telling him I am still going to look at other cars elsewhere, he presents me with a cash out the door deal that is only good right now. I tell them I will accept the cash deal then they come back and tell me they cannot honor the proposal that they gave me. Let me make myself perfectly clear - this was NOT an offer I made them that was rejected. It was their deal that they presented to me. I find it unconscionable that any car dealer would present a proposal and retract it minutes later. Needless to say I walked out of this unethical dealership to never return. I spoke with Viken, he told me that car was not ready, (Pre-owned 2020 Sentra S) but if I was interested in checking out a 2019 Sentra S. Which I had in mind as a second option. Although I was a little hesitant about it because it had a reported recall. I was not looking to buy a new car, It is not something I’m interested in. I asked Viken about the recall, he was very dismissive and said he didn’t know anything about it. Really? How are you going to sell a car and not know anything about it. Lol. Anyway I noticed the 2019 Sentra s didn’t have push button start. It might be dumb, but I like the push button start. I have only ever used a car with that feature. He said he show me a new 2020 Sentra S. I said yes, because it was the same as the preowned one. I just wanted to take a look at it because there is a difference in how the 2019 and 2020 Sentra S look. After he proceeded to take me inside. And start filling out my information to run it. I asked him for which car he was going to run my credit for, he said that first he would see, the. He would tell me which car is the best deal. I don’t car which is the best deal I want the car I did my research on. He also pulled out the 4 square, and asked me how much money I wanted to pay monthly lol. He really thought I was that stupid. He brought out the finance manager to talk to me. He said “you are interested in the new 2020 Sentra S.” Mind Viken said he would see which car was the best deal for me. I told the finance manager I wasted the preowned one not the new one. He said the new car held its value again he also thought I was that stupid. Needless to say I will be asking to work with someone else, next time. Unfortunately, I will have to go with a male, so they don’t to rip me off as well. It sucks that it has to be that way. Also I called in another time only to speak to another liar Vincent Franco who is a sales manager like Steve but because Steve was never returning my calls I tried calling in and got the liar and CON MAN Vincent who promised the world and delivered on NOTHING. I just leased a New 2021 Rouge and Glendale Nissan kept my payments under $300 per month. This was a better deal than Toyota, Honda and Mitsubishi.
