The AFLS light that came on refers to your Elantra’s Adaptive Front Lighting System. As per the Owner’s Manual, typically this light will come on for approximately three seconds and the turn off. If this does not happen, turn the engine off then on again. If this does not work our Hyundai Certified technicians will be more than happy to take a closer to look to make sure your Elantra is performing properly. We completely understand your frustration with these matters, as you have just purchased the vehicle. We would like to speak with you further at your earliest convenience.
