I came to Gilroy dealership informing them that i had tooken my car to a mechanic and they said that i had to take my car to the dealership and have them update the system. When i scheduled the appointme tooken my car to a mechanic and they said that i had to take my car to the dealership and have them update the system. When i scheduled the appointment they scheduled it for a diagnostic. when i brought my car in for the appointment the gentleman went over a few option and said instead of doing the diagnostic and maybe it could be the spark plugs since i went over the service like twice and if the car is still doing the same thing then we will do a diagnostic well i paid over a $1,000.00 for the sparks plugs and filter. He said that they didn't hear the noise So i picked up my car and it started to shake again. I took my car to the mechanic and he said its the transmission, I then went to the dealership and told them and they didn't have anything for like 4-5 days. I asked them if i can take it to another chevy dealership since when i bought my car with them i had the powertrain warranty on it. They said that i can take it to another dealership if they have something sooner. I then took the car to Salinas did a diagnostic and they said it was the transmission and they gave me the quote for it and then they called the insurance and they told them i had to take the car back to Gilroy where i got the car. I then scheduled an appointment and informed them what Salinas did and gave them all the paperwork with the quote. Well they wanted to charge me $3,000.00 more then Salinas quoted me and the warranty was going to pay what my car was worth but i kept asking them why cant they give me the same price as Salinas and they gave me the reason why. So long story short. This whole thing took a month and I ended up going to another location and the thing is i paid for something that i know i needed but at the moment i wanted to find out what the issue was. If i would of done the diagnostic the first time i went i think a lot of things would of helped me out earlier and had other options and solutions. More

Worst experience ever. I have been to GMC, Toyota and Audi for oil changes and service. My 1.5 hour apt. ended up being a 3 hour ordeal, with no communication.
